I would like some help

i am currently shopping for wheels, i am looking to buy drag wheels either DR21s or DR16s mainly because all drag wheels fit my car and there cheaper but still stronger wheel, now my problam is currently i have the stock wheels (16 inches) with hankook tires with a good amount of tread left on them, i want to buy 17inch wheels because thats one of the only sizes that come in gold, do i need to buy a whole new set of tires to fit on the 17 inch wheels or is it possiable that the tires that i have will fit?

i have been using google and just been getting a headach from all the unnessecary information, K+ for help, K- for hate

I haven't heard of people stretching tire sizes +/- 1 inch, but I have heard of stretching for different offsets.

So are you saying you want to put 17 wheels on 16 rims? I wouldn't personally.
I used to get free drag wheels fishing them out of the dumpster behind this old racing parts store we had, but it closed down , used to go out to LACR with shitty ass civics with like top of the line drag tires on them and people would think we were all serious business until we did pathetic 1/4 miles hahaha.

Step 3 Check the inter-hole diameter of your tires and make sure it conforms to the diameter of the rims. You can't put a 15-inch tire on a 16-inch rim or a 17-inch tire on a 15-inch rim.

This has to be true because I found it on the internet in 30 seconds.
