I wonder....

i think so. I was in the apple store a few weeks ago and some woman came in and said she had been running her OS and HD and everything from an external drive cause something happened to her computer, im not to sure though. it sounded kind of strange.

yea well I know you can run an OS off of a disc cause my uncle does it, but i was wondering if i could do it for bootcamp on a mac

hmm, well, then if it's possible to put windows on an external hardrive, maybe I'll just put it on my old 4GB ipod mini

Sorry, I meant is smackbook for bootcamp or parallels...should've been clear. And if that's what you're answering, then sorry again.

It's a program that uses the motion sensor and lets you switch between OS X and Windows (or another OS) by tapping the side of your macbook/macbook pro like an old style type-writer. But I'm not sure if you need bootcamp or parallels to run it, or maybe it works with either one. YouTube "smackbook" and check out the videos, looks way cool.
