I was wondering if anyone would sponsor me?

Doesn't matter. It showcased you skiing, and your potential.

Neither of which are high enough to get you anywhere.

Its great if you can slide boxes, rails or almost land a 720, but if you can do that and shred the backcountry, the steeps, the chutes and cliff drops, then you will get noticed even more. When i look at videos on NS, it is the guys that have that overall skiing ability that really impresses me (i am a bit biased towards big mountain however).

And learn how to take criticism better, that will help you in the long run.

dude your comments are making you sound like a complete ass. if a sponsor was reading this post they would definitly not want you just because how cocky you sound in this thread.

ZOMG LIEK SPOSNSERIZE ME I CAN DO THE DOUBLE BLACK DIAMONZ JUST LIKE I GET THE DIAMONDZ ON MAH CHAIN

stop hating says the person who made the 9 page ( so far) HATE thread on why windells suck and why we are stupid wannabe gangsters. im not hating at all on this guy but you are hating on everyone else in this thread, telling us were pieces of shit and should fuck off.
YOU SIR ARE THE PIECE OF SHIT

hey, shes better than me too.

and op, if your arent trolling (which i cant really tell), you need to be realllly good to get sponsored, and that videos not gonna cut it.

but i do like that youre riding hylands

PM beargrylls he is a K2 rep and is in charge of smaller flow type sponsorships. anyone who is interested in potential K2 sponsorship should go through him, he's a really nice guy too.

I don't think anyone would sponsor you. I'm not trying to be a dick, but just stating my opinion based on that video. My advice is to just ski as much as possible to get better. Try to work on something each day, especially for park skiing.

Please, grow up and learn to take criticism without getting all butt hurt about it.

What do you want us to do, praise about how good you are and give you a cookie?

I'll add some advice and criticism here. First off, we can all get cocky from time to time. I can, I do sometimes, I like to claim stuff that is new for me and makes me happy..You're going a little over board here. Seeing as this is all written text though, I can't tell your tone, but from the responses I have seen, you sound like a little smirk kid who just entered high school.

Secondly, tricks are big and all, but it can't carry you if you want to get anywhere is skiing. You need style, positive attitude and the willingness to sell product. Both by showing it's potential, and listing the benefits on my the consumer should buy the product.

I'll say this right now. It's not all about park and tricks. Personally, I can do shit for tricks...Yet, here I am, giving you advice on sponsorship from my personal experience.

My final words and advice. Work on your attitude towards the skiing community. Both online and on the slopes. No one wants a cocky kid bragging about how good they are, and absolutely no one wants a cocky kid bragging about sponsors.

After you have accomplished that, work on your style. Fundamentals of both essential and basic skiing, along with park style. I personally don't know shit about park style, so it's something I am working on. Which brings me to my next blurb. Set yourself goals, this can include finding a beloved sponsor. It also gives you something to work towards, and when you accomplish it, master it and move it.

And finally, after everything is said and done, go look for that sponsor. A given is small/local companies and shops. Be professional about it though. Ask them, they can deny you, don't get pissed. Remember, a company is looking for someone to promote their company. In return, they'll help you. It's not the other way around.

I'm going to bed.

Night

with that attitude im sure ill see you on my wall on a k2 poster for sure. make sure u get you name into companies. dont give up, throw down.

Nobody wants to sponsor some desperate kid who would take "any sponsor". Who gives a shit if you're 14 so is willie borm.

When I was 14 (last year) I actually thought to myself that I could become a pro skier, then I realized their are kids my age that are already doing dubs and I've got no chance. Just ski for fun. What you were doing in that edit pretty much every 14 year old can do. 270 out, pretty much anyone can do. 450 out, huck harder and anyone can do it. Spin a 3 off a 15 foot jump, anyone can do. You have got to realize that just because you can do certain things doesn't mean you will have a future in the sport. So get off your high horse and just ski for fun and stop thinking that you can actually get somewhere in this sport. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the truth is harsh.

PS, choose a better song for your next edit rather than a auto-tuned try hard rapper. That song was so fucking annoying.

kangbang prevails. let's put it this way OP: i'm 14 and (not trying to be cocky) have probably a little less than double your rail game. i have never considered getting sponsored, i'm just going out there every day to have as much fucking fun and progress as much as i possibly can.

now i know some 12 year old retard is going to go through my videos and find the edit i recently posted and proceed to say "NUH YUR RAIL GAME SUXZZZ"

Everyone remembers being (or currently is) 14 and dreaming everyday of skiing professionally. After giving up that dream we are bitter and are quick to crush a younger kid who still has hope.
