just as the title says i want to get into rollerblading,
i was at my local skate park yesterday and realized i should utilize the great park i have, improve my skiing, and entertain myself in the offseason by rollerblading.
What do i need to know? what type of skates do i need? a special type to grind?any other tid bits you got to say?

ya, ur going to need aggressive skates(sounds corny haha)but basically they range from 100-400 dollars. They have a special grind plate on the bottom.
if you wanted a pair i have some, size 10.5 for sale good for beginners

you know the offseason is pretty much over right?

i can tell you exactly how it will go. you will try to get good in the few weeks you have before skiing starts and you will break something and have no skiing

check out aggressivemall.com they've got everything you'll need at decent prices, good company too, never had probs with them. get out there youll love it

i know the offseason is almost over, i'm not planning on pursuing this until next summer. Just want to know what i need to pursue it next summer, and give me time to get the right skates

my threads. im hoping to get into aggressive skating to. whats a good site for it (store or site equivelent to ns that i can n00b up)

Have you told your parents you're gay yet? because i suggest you start there, its the hardest part by far... once you work up the balls to do that the season will most likely be over so just scout the internet for some blades and get em in the spring

VALO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Xsjados are good too. Those are my two favorite, but I personally skate Valo. Like everyone else said, check out aggressivemall.com, they've been nothing but awesome to me.

i was looking at sports authority today for a small rail to start learning how to hit rails with on rollerblades. All they had were box rails.
can i hit box rails on roller blades?or only round rails?
did a little google searching on where to find good rails for rollerblading, any particular sites that anybody knows?

this.
another really really really good way to learn grinds is to make yourself a p-rail. all i did for mine was buy a 2x6, a 2x4, and a 10' long, 1" thick PVC pipe. you can make a pretty solid and fun rail that is really easy to learn stuff on and will stay fun as you keep getting better.
little different style of building one, but you get the idea:
