I want to put together a Vietnam war inspired music playlist....need suggestions!

The End - The Doors

Gimme Shelter - The Rolling Stones

CCR has some too.

If you can look up the music used in Platoon and Full Metal Jacket you will get some really good ones.

I am just curious, do you want music from the time period of Vietnam that were written BECAUSE of the war? Or something else?

Yeah sorry for not clearing that up....I'm not looking for modern music, instead I'm looking for music created during the Vietnam period.

Ok, look up the soundtracks to We Were Soldiers, Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, and possibly the very beginning of Apocalypse Now. Much of the music used in those movies were created during the Vietnam war and in response to it.
