I want to go to windells. is it worth it?

To me, no.
2,000 some odd dollars for a week of skiing? A summers pass is 900. Pay another... 500 and get rent for a month. 1400 a month, and you get 4 weeks, stay longer if you want. Yes, you get to hang with the pros, but seemingly you could get a lot more down in a month or more than a single week.

seriously, in my opinion, which some, but not most hold, is that you'll get a lot more, and a lot more bang for your buck, if you opt for something where you can ride for... a month? more? with a summer pass You could camp at the airstrip for free, or rent out a room, ski everyday, take a day off and relax as you please, and actually enjoy the summer and learn. WIndells is cool and all, but its 2500 (with air) for a week. Shit, you could go to japan, maybe even south america, certainly europe, on that kind of per-day coin. Considering you are not really getting instruction, just the opportunity to ride in a public park, hang with skiers (which you could do in the public park. god knows there are a fuckload of them these days) and use some of the amenities off the mountain, I can't consider it a good deal. Something like mountaineering or something... eh, sure. ~$300 per day is rough shit Get a friend (or more) to tag along. But I'm guessin age is a problem... still.

my friend has gone the past two years and he thought it was great. although he would rather go with a friend to make it more fun but im trying to get to windells session 6 this year for my birthday. I'd be beyond stoked to ski a week in the summer
