I'm once again raising money in support of a good cause by riding in the Pan Mass Challenge. I'm looking to raise $10,000 for cancer research and treatment — and hoping you'd consider helping me get there.

Fair, I should probably qualify what the Pan Mass Challenge is for those who aren't familiar.

"The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Always held the first weekend in August, the PMC raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research"

Originally, the PMC was — and still is a two day ride from Western MA to the tip of Cape Cod, but it's since expanded to a few other events, including the PMC Unpaved which is a 50 mi gravel ride with 5,5000+ elevation gain.

I'm participating in both the two day ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown (186 mi) on August 5th & 6th and then again on September 23rd for the PMC Unpaved (50 mi).

As far as who I am to be asking for support? Former contributing photographer for NS turned marketing professional for LINE & FT, now East Coast Dad and semi-professional photographer who's raising money for cancer research in honor of friends, family & colleagues who've been affected by the disease. [tag=179844]@TwoPlankerPod[/tag] put me in front of the microphone a little while back too.

I was thinking about doing it again but moved for my job and I'm doing a marathon in November instead. Definitely going to do it when I move back to Mass.

Had a great weekend with the Pan Mass Challenge — rode 109 miles on Saturday and 77 miles on Sunday, pedaling from Sturbridge to Provincetown.

Thanks to incredible generosity, including a few NS member here, I've raised $10,725 for Dana Farber Cancer Institute so far!

With this box checked off, I've still got one more big ride ahead as I'll be taking on the PMC Unpaved in September. Your support is always welcome, and donations can still be made through October 1st. For those who'd like to participate in the raffle, don't forget to make a $25+ donation by August 31st...

Remember, this is all to support my fundraising for the Pan Mass Challenge. With your help, I’ve managed to crush my goal of $10K.

I’ve got one more PMC event to ride, which is the PMC Unpaved later this month. To help train, I competed in the Vermont Overland recently which was 55 miles and over 7,000’ of vertical!

Thanks for donating! I've raised $10,935 so far this year for cancer research with 100% of donations (including yours) going to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute as part of the Pan Mass Challenge.

I should have all the info I need as it was included in the donation. :)
