So im like a compnot sure how to say this without sounding lete tool but i'll try... I live on the east coast (ottawa) and find i'm getting bored of my skis casue they're pretty stiff and lame... I really want a pair of rockered skis or soft buttery skis that aren't necessarily over 100 mills under foot. I weigh about 130, i'm like 5'8 maybe 5'9 and experienced so I would be looking for skis anywhere from 175 - 185's. I just want a pair of skis that I can really have fun with.

nooo ... no offence but i relly dont like samller. I'm on 176's right now and handle them fine... i guess i'll narrow it down to between 175-180

i was also thinking maybe invaders ... and i'd go with the anthems over the reno's cause they're almost 200$ cheaper

178 Anthems, 169 Hellbents ( I know you said between 175-180 but they run long, 169s are more like 175s, 180 Reno Rockers

Im not sure you can still get reno rockers, but they are hella fun. I reviewed em and gave em a 10. Plus they arent that expensive. they ride short and are super fun, however, on the east coast ice fields you might have trouble because they are pretty unstable on harder stuff... anthems? reno jibs are super fun too, light snappy, not too too stiff, super lively ski!

Dude, im taller and heavier than you, and Im buying 169 Hellbents. They are alot wider and bulkier than a park ski, and they measure to be 174cm long. Anything longer than that is going to be an issue to throw around in the park.

fujatives and hellbents are the most fun skis i've been on. since i don't see a purpose in owning hellbents in pennsylvania, i got fujatives, and love them. sure, they're not rockered, but they're so soft it doesnt matter. after about a year of riding mine, they have lost their camber so they basically sit flat on the ground now unweighted. they're super fun for butters and presses, and can still handle big hits and some non-technical all mountain stuff pretty well mounted at center.

I'm the same height and weight as you, I just ordered some Line Elizabeths for my 'FUN ski'.. however if you don't want over 100mm I would definately look at Line Anthems or even Invaders... Moment Reno Rockers are pretty hyped up on here but i never skiied em so I can't comment... I'd go for Lizzies if you don't mind the width or Anthems probably

You should definitely consider the K2 seth... with the soft-moderate flex and mini rocker these skis would be fun as hell. Plus they are surprisingly light. I never actually skiied them tho, just messin around with them in a shop. Downside is they are kinda expensive.

actually seths are a pretty heavy ski... thats one reason i decided on Lizzies over seths

invaders are more of a fun ski than anthems. ive skiied both and the anthems are stiffer and not as lively and poppy feeling as the invaders, you can just like ollie and butter like crazy on invaders. i could also see the seths being pretty fun with that mini rocker, they could be sweet for butters and stuff.

Fujatives 179, or Anthems 178. I own both and they are soooo fun. Anthems are super flexy and have tons of pop, fujatives are just a fun ass ski.

id say vaders or anthems...they arent rockered but still quite soft and buttery

i would personaly choose the anthems i want them SO bad

if you want rockers i would preorder NOW!. the release is in 3 days or at least its supposed to be and people will jump on these thanks to the rockered skis and moments current reputatioin.

If you buy anthems and ski them hard, I bet they'll go rocker for sure. In my expierence, all soft skis go rocker if you ski them enough. That way you could save mad mula. Also, I don't want to hate on Moment, but my buddy had a pair, and let me just say, they didn't last very long.

were they this years and what model? i heard about all sorts of g1 rockers getting recalled and a few breaks cult threads but i ride my jibs hard and they are nowhere close to giving up.

my pair of 07/08 reno jibs broke after 6 days of use. i just bought a pair of seths and they are soooooo fun. the mini rocker combind with a somewhat soft nose/tail makes it a really fun ski. plus it is wide but not too wide for east coast skiing (98 under foot). plus they shred pretty much all conditions.
