I want a prime in the 65-90 range. suggestions?

im looking for something in the sub-200 range, and i'm ok with it being made for a film camera or manual focus, similar to the Helios 44-2 (which i own).

here is one ive been trying to find, but dont know about the quality.

I've heard good things about the Nikon Nikkor 85mm 2.0

i have def looked at the canon 85 1.8 but its a little pricey for my range, and i have more fun using the manual focus lenses

I would also look into the Rokinon 85mm F/1.4, It's closer to your $200 price range.

pentax m50 f/1.4 its goes for like $120 on ebay. too close to a 44mm, but look into any pentax primes in the range you want. then get it on ebay.

I got mine for 50 on craigslist haha! I second the motion for the rokinon 85 1.4 it's a damn nice piece of glass. You also may be able to find it cheaper under the comany name Samyang. Other than that just look for m42 lenses.

Just to add something here:

The Rokinon is a rebranded Samyang lens.

Other rebrands include Vivitar and Walimex. So you're good with any of them.

Beautiful lens as well, though I wouldn't know how well it compares versus the Nikon (as long as you don't need the f/1.4)
