in austria its only a 2 day course to get a certificate so that you can hire the stuff and paraglide legit by yourself, first day you learn a bit of theory and practice starting of a steep bank, second day they take you up the mountain and you run of and fly like 1000 vertical meters with a walky talky and they talk you through landing, then bam you can paraglide, my brother did the course, probably takes loads of practice to do the stuff in the vid though, video is amazing, do a course and get practicing!
