I think Ive found a new hobby....

Not really, since Iowa has a lack of dunes. My friends and I do alot of trailriding and field running with our trucks though, so i'ts the next best thing. We used to go mud bogging when I had my 4x4 but now I've got a 2wd, so thats out of the question.
I would really love to go out to Glamis, California though. Which is where those videos took place. There are some dunes up by Indiana and southern Illinois I think.
Currently I'm in the long process of turning my truck into a prerunner. Only thing thats killing me are the funds...
 
Glamis is in the middle of fucking nowhere, which makes perfect sense. Only seven hours from where I live though. I'd be sketched out camping there though, so many illegals in that area, it's really close to the border.
 
my brother races cars kinda like that. he built it himself and he races in the dessert. but those trucks are super expensive compared to what my bro has
 
Thats sick. Yeah TROPHY trucks are pretty expensive. What class does he race in?

My friend's dad has an insane dune buggy that he has taken to Glamis. Thing has a wheelie bar because it accelerates so fast. PM LPSki if you want to know more about it, it's his dad's.
 
my neighbors son (much older has kids and family) races jeepspeed, and let me drive in a race with him in colorado, he was co-piloting for me and honestly that shit is fucking scary as hell, and i was going slower than what he told me to do. racing offroad is crazy, ill stick to rock crawling and autocross.
