I SucK

SO i consider myself as an alright skier but an average skier can usually spin with grabs but i CANT!!! AT my ski mountain we have one jump to do anything off of and its small but big at the same time.... I tried to learn grabs with a simple 360 but i couldnt do it and when i finally did,,,, i dont remember cause i wiped out and cracked my skull open. Does anyopne have tips??????

I can't figure out if you're a troll or not. So:

If your not a troll: Don't worry about it. Just keep practicing and eventually you will get it. Get to where you can throw a 3 no problem, then maybe try a safety and work your way up.

If you are a troll:

if serious, grab after you start to spin at about 180 or even 360
but can you 1800?

practice just straight airing with grabs you need to know how it feel before you can do it spinning its all muscle memory also you can briefly look at what your trying to grab like if your trying to grab blunt turn your head an look at the tail of your ski and grab it. but the muscle memory is the technique i highly recommend because you can be spotting your landing the whole time which gives you more control.

dude i havent been able to grab my spins since i started freestyle. ive done water ramps and been to windells and still cant grab so dont feel bad.

i spin left and can only grab my 180 but i find it super easy if i cross right ski over left and reach down and grab whatever i get a hand on. all im doing is reaching down and grabbing and still spinning. imma try grabbin 3's like that this year

learn how to carve into your spins. this was the difference maker for me in learning grabbed spins. you have to set your spin with your hips and core instead of your arms. when you stop using your arms to spin that frees them up for steezy grabs. try no poles for a while that gives you less arm weight to cheat with.

I'm assuming you probably tried to learn mutes or safteys first. These grabs are easy, but sometimes you can get caught up leaning down to your ski and it makes you drop a shoulder. This will make you start to cork out your spin and fuck up your orientation. Just make sure you dont look down at your skis. Keep your head looking in the direction of your spin and spot your landing asap.
