yeah, a lot of people come on soley for the pictures and NSG. I think the skigabber has really picked up in content compared to the NSG lately though. Ski equiptment is more fun too.

Or it could be that fact that skiing is one topic, and non-ski gabber encompasses basically every other topic there is to discuss. So it makes sense that non-ski gabber would have more.

i've noticed that there are a ton of names on non-ski gabber that i NEVER see in ski equipment or ski gabber. why do we need a non ski gabber anyways? its a fucking ski site, lets all talk about skiing instead.

All lucky 7s... too bad once he figures it out it'll be gone. Anyhoo, I think the site has been going in a non-ski direction for a while. Even the posts in ski gabber now treat the sport more like a tv show than a pastime... go back a year and a half to two years and read the posts. It's waaay different.

ski gabber can only have so many topics, non ski has an infinty. also, nsg is often very entertaining, given the nature of the people on this site. its not anything negative, its all fun, as for my schedule on NS.

Skiing is what I do, it is a huge part of my life.. But instead of me sitting around talking about it, I would much rather just go out and do it. Live it.

The ski gabber is a great resource to have. It keeps me informed on alot of the things that are going on in the industry, and is a great place to talk with other skiers about ski related issues.

It's the same reason why if meet any professional athlete on a normal day, whethey they are skiers, snowboarders, basketball players, or surfers, they are most likely not going to want to just sit around and talk about their sport all day.. Because they live it, and that's good enough for them.
