"I ski for Sarah" bracelets!

Hey guys!

I'm going to order black livestrong-style bracelets with light blue writing that say "I ski for Sarah" on the outside, and then in non-colored writing on the inside, "9/3/82 - 1/19/12"

I just want to get an idea of how many people would be be willing to throw down a couple bucks for one, I'm estimating the price will be 3.50 each, and I'd obviously make deals in the event that people buy multiple.

the way i've worked it out, i'll profit like 3 cents for each bracelet..... this isn't for me, it's for Newschoolers to be able to remember one of our own in a simple yet respectful way.

Yes, you're right, i must be a complete asshole judging by a decision I made to choose to represent an icon in the ski industry, yet not donate every penny of profit to her foundation. If youre so passionate about her foundation, take your money and donate it instead of buying.my bracelet with it, i won't mind one bit.

I said 50 but itll probably end up being more like75 percent, I'm trying to do a nice thing here.
 
i would, just buy them and then sell them, it can't cost that much, and once you have pics of the finished product you'll be good to go. once listed on NS you'll have no problems getting rid of them, at least in my opinion
 
+1.I know you say you are trying to do a nice thing, but you're profiting. Also everyone knows how to work the internet and find custom rubber bracelet sites, where if I buy 10 it will cost under 3.50 a pop.

I'm not trying to be a dick so apologies if I'm coming off as one.
 
AND ALSO, INSTEAD OF THE DATES BEING ON THE INSIDE OF THE BRACELET, THEY WILL BE ON THE OUTSIDE, OPPOSITE FROM THE WORDS

they wouldn't let me do the dates on the inside =/

honestly i'm doing this mostly because i've wanted to rep sarah somehow since her passing, but i could never get my hands on any of the Sarah stickers

i was gonna order like 5, then i realized, hell, i doubt i'm the only one who'd rep these.

3.50 each? that is a $2.25 profit as when you buy them they cost around .75 or a lot cheaper depending on how many you buy. and you are only willing to donate half of the proceeds to her foundation.

people like you make me sick. making money off of something so sad.

cost comes out to 2.12 each, plus a 42 cent stamp to send them via envelope that comes out to a total cost of 2.54

i'm profiting about 1 dollar each, and i have 23 orders. thats 23 dollars profit, 8 dollars of which goes to shipping the bracelets here. that's 15 dollars of profit for taking the time to make a thread, keep track or orders, make MANY trips to the post office, and package them all.

i would donate every cent if someone could link me to the damn foundation, i can't find it, as posted above.

you sit on NS all day ripping on kids for forgetting pictures in their threads, or for other stupid shit. grow up.
 
oh but wait, i'm planning on keeping 5 bracelets for me, my brother, and a couple friends.

so that's 5 times 2.12 = 10.6

so EVEN IF I KEEP EVERY CENT OF THE MONEY I MAKE, ID ONLY PROFIT A TOTAL OF 5 FUCKING DOLLARS
