in order to make the shipping process really easy, could everybody that wants a bracelet do the following....

1. Send 3 dollars x the number of bracelets that you want to my paypal - bencaccavale@gmail.com

(could you guys send the money as a gift? that way the paypal fees won't add up over the 50 plus sales i'm making, check my feedback if you're skeptical)

2. Send an email along with the paypal payment stating your NAME, ADDRESS, AND NS USERNAME.

that way i'll be able to collect addresses easily.

or if you really want, just send the money, and then post in this thread your paypal name with which you sent the money, and your address, that works too.

will prolly pick one up when you have them. didnt have time to read the thread, but are these gonna be embossed (cut into like livestrongs)? Because i bought those 'i am a skier' bracelets the kid sold last year, and the ink rubbed right off
 
they're ink, but they're ink injected so i doubt it's gonna come out...

if his rubbed off they were probably just printed

IMPORTANT MESSAGE.

every bracelet i shipped out thus far has been returned to me because the envelopes were "too bulky". typical post office bullshit. anyways, i'm paperclipping the bracelets so that they will be flat, and reshipping them out tomorrow.

basically, sorry for the delay, everything will be re-sent out tomorrow. they're being sent in regular envelopes so they won't take long to arrive anyways :)

aight so every order thus far has been shipped with the exception of 2 or three that i've gotten in the last couple of days

the next shipping day will be thursday, keep it coming guys i've got lots left, about a third of the way through these!

if i sell all of them i will order more, in white because as gmart said that would look even better!
 
no offense to the girl, but this might be the stupidest thing I've ever seen. WHY THE FUCK would i buy a bracelet that says "I ski for Sarah." You fucking skied before she died, so that is dumb. Also, she is dead. People are profiting off of somebodies death. That is not right IMO.
 
We ski for Sarah because we are doing what she can't anymore. Fuck you asshole, It's showing support to her friends, family, and the skiing community as a whole. Yes, we skied before Sarah past but it is showing that she is in loving memory of everyone that wears one. Fuck off.
 
Holy shit you little bitch. I have never read anything so disrespectful in my entire life. There's this thing called a community that we have all chosen to be a part of by not only being on this website but by skiing in the first place. When we lose one of the community's best-loved members, we want to celebrate their life and remember them, not fucking remind each other that "she is dead". This is not and never will be the place to voice your opinion on how you don't give a shit about someone passing away...take your negative fucking thoughts elsewhere and I hope you have a terrible life.
 
I'm sorry I made you guys mad. And now that I read over my other post, it did come off as rude.

What I was saying and will say again, I do not think it is right to profit off of someone's death, even if it is her family.

That is my own two cents, everyone has their own opinion, so don't get mad.
 
and what i have said, am saying, and will say again, is that i am not profiting off of Sarahs death.

yes, i'm selling these for more than i bought them for. that's because of the 42 cents each it costs to ship (1 stamp, 2 stamps aka 84 cents to ship to canada).

even with those costs added in, yes, i'm profiting a little bit with each sale (i think about 30 cents each). however i've countered this by giving away a couple free ones here and there both to homies on the site that have been helpful all along, and to people i know.

if i sold every bracelet i'd only profit about 25 dollars total. i'm selling for three each, i've given away 5 already so thats 15 dollars, plus i'm keeping 2 so thats another 6 dollars.

25 - (15+6) = 4 dollars profit.

4 dollars profit if i sell every single one. I HAVEN'T EVEN SOLD HALF YET.
 
that $4 had better go to the CRJ foundation or riley poor or something.

making even a penny off this is kinda fucked. even though it wont make a difference in the end its the principle of it
