I shit myself when i eat breakfast

aight so i have an issue - when I go skiing I never eat breakfast, problem is that I obviously get hungry very quickly. my issue though is that if i do eat anything before like midday, i need to shit, like urgently shit. have an feed on the lift or stop in the cafe doesn't matter, by the time i get to the top it's a b-line to the nearest toilet, pretty much no exception. i can't work out which of the two options is better, a) hungry, or b) shit.

i know i can't be the only one so looking for input from my ibs bros

i have no good advice just eat a light meal. i’d usually eat an apple maybe a piece or two of toast with peanutbutter. small portion of safer foods in the morning can’t be that bad. otherwise idk man sometimes you gotta boss up and blow up the bathroom.
 
i’ve trained myself to eat while i sleep. then you can shit immediately when you wake up and you just toss sheets in the wash, take a shower, and hit the mountain
 
Constipate yourself. No more shitting yourself If you can’t shit. Eat a fuckton of cheese and bread or just take a couple opioids, you’ll be good for a week
 
Do you drink coffee?

You can develop lactose intolerance later in life. I had to switch to lactose free milk for my coffee in the last year. Apparently the gene for lactase enzyme production can switch off with age. Something to look into.

Eat a light breakfast and bring light snacks with yourself. For some people, the issue can be that they eat and then they get a huge bile dump from the gallbladder which causes issues. Things to avoid to prevent this: excess sugar, excess fat, and overeating

* as I think about this, bile dump makes most sense because it’s been accumulating in your gallbladder overnight

yeah sorry if this is wack advice for someone with ibs or whatever but i used to have a roommate who ate cheese or bananas or whatever before dates cause this was a fear of his. it's not the worst idea i've ever heard

Yeah I just threw this out there as a joke I have no idea how ibs works, it’s the off season so I have to find another way to be a karma whore
 
This isnt exactly common with IBS. IBS simply is our bodies inability to regulate liquid intake to our colons so half the poops might be firm or all soft or an in-between/mix which is what I have. It does not always usually mean that when we eat, its an instant trip to the bathroom. If it were me, I would also keep an eye on your weight if this is the case where food intake leads to a quick defecation as this can be a leading factor in the diagnosis of Crohns Disease which like IBS is a bowel oriented disease however your symptoms seem to be more in line with that if its constant. Those with IBS like myself may have a day in awhile where its almost as though we have food poisoning, but is actually referred to as an IBS attack where things like diarrhea can persist for 24 hours. I would seriously consider talking to a doctor. You arent born with crohns. Like IBS, you develop it over time or something in your body can change instantly.

It's wild how quick that switch happens. I was around 27 when it started just out of the blue. Just one spoonful of milk in my coffee would start gurgling gut. Then I'd eat a bowl of cereal and then the gut would be really rumbling.

If anything it made me eat healthier, I don't eat sugary cereal anymore and obviously don't drink milk anymore. That lactose free stuff is nasty.
 
I have to state the obvious. Wake up early enough to eat breakfast and have your shit. Then go skiing. Have you never tried this? You just say that you don't eat breakfast but right after you eat, you have to shit. So eat breakfast, go shit, then go ski.

i cant ski if i didnt shit at least once before it. sometimes you get rough day and have a session at home and when you arrive the parking lot of the resort.

be like that sometimes.

On a less serious note, the stool might be an added cushion from pivot dildo backseat syndrome. Just dont pull the pants down or else the wokies will get you cancelled for black facing your butt unless of course your not white but i am so im kinda screwed in that regard. Besides, its better than when bear grylls covered himself with mud saying it was a natural sun repellent. What a racist he was. Just dont be racist with it aight soldier.
 
Feel like this is more for just riding park/rope laps, but I can show up to the hill having to go to the bathroom, start skiing and forget about it for the whole day, then just go when I get home

This. I always have some form of caffeine in the morning so that when I get to the ski hill I NEED to take a shit in the lodge and then I'm good to go. Always one step ahead
 
Used to be like this for me, I cut gluten out of my diet and it completely fixed it. Over time I was able to build back my tolerance to gluten and now I don’t have issues
