I screwed my exams up-what do I do?

so i live in england and in your last two years of school we have these exams called A-levels. You have exams at the end of each year and then the marks are combined to make overall marks. the grades you get decide what University's you are going to get in to. You do four subjects in the first year. I screwed up three of them. I'm just about to start my second year but with the results I got in the first I cant do well overall. Do I drop out ,or repeat, or carry on and get shit grades. My dad is really angry at me because he thinks i did not work. I actually worked super hard this year but got bad grades witch pissed me off. I dont know what to do. My fate is in your hands.

as much as i hate to say this, hold yourself back and re-do them...it sucks now, but you'll definitely benefit in the long run

^^thats what i was thinking, you might want to get school over with as much as possible but i would hold up and do em again, plus your dad will be happy to hear this

well at least you still get to graduate high school if you fail. we get 5 trys at some standardized test and if we don't pass math and us history they won't give you a high school diploma.

try to do it over, pleasing your dad and getting the grades you wanted will set you up for a good school. or just come here as someone said. idiots can pass our tests...

 
fuck the test grader in the ass and when the person screams for you to pull out tell them to up your grade.

i actually studied like a mofo but it obviously did no good. We can leave school if we fail but with no qualificatons. I still cant decide what to do. I know I should repeat but i'm fed up with school, iv spent 14 years in shool with one more to go. I cant face another two years if i repeat

hey pb.

ive just got my A2 level grades... did well enough to get into uni. I did no wear nr as good as i needed to last year... pretty much every exam i retook i improved on loads (not even as a result of more revision, just a2 makes AS seem easier) i.e. i went from 47/90 to 77/90 in one biology exam. dont worry and just stick it out.. gud luck!

 
yeah, I fucked up one of my exams this year, but everything turned out allright. I only finished half of my chem exam because I didn't take my adderol that morning, but luckily because I did well on my midterm and my lab practical my exam grade averaged out to an HP (we use the british grading system at my boarding school and a High Pass is like a C), so my final grade averaged out to a B+
