i didnt know they were out yet...some guy had them today, and they are the fattest skis i have ever seen in my life....i asked him about them, and he said he had wide brakes on them, and they still didnt fit on the skis...i was standing next to him (i have pe's) and my skis looked like toothpicks...it was crazy

They are pretty much a Seth Pistol. A tad bit stiffer than them, not much though. Very noodly. Skied them, not impressed. And they're a K2 so they'll probably blow up on you after a week or two.

dude glen plake skis back country on a part of straigh ass 210's. The only reason people ahve fat skis today is because they're for people who really cant ski that good but still want to si deep pow

Stuart, I do believe that was the stupidest thing I've read in some time. 'For people that can't ski good...' Sure bro. Keep rocking the straight skis if that is your thing. I ski that ski everywhere. On ice, groomed, jumps, powder and moguls because it is just that much fun.

yeah i accually liked the kahuna graphics. they had that long board look to them.

and to the people that say fat skis are for beginners are either 1. newbies to the sport or 2. have never accually seen powder in there life

 
Nobody cared? your way off, k2 only made a handful of the Kahuna and there was unbelievable demand for it. There isn't much hype because so few were made and nobody could get a pair. K2 gets calls every day about them if you knew about them, you wanted a pair. They were sold out by last september there was so much demand.

Yeah, the Kahuna look didn't mesh with everything else we were doing though. It's look needed an upgrade for a younger market as well as a versatile 179cm offering.

 
they have pretty much the same dimensions as the kahuna but have more of the flex profile from the 04-05 pistols.
