I painted zebra skis

Like any kid growing up I wanted to have my own pro model, however dreams often do not come true, and with my skiing I realized that it simply wasn't going to happen unless i took matters into my own hands... so i took my shit 170 ninthwards that i use for urban and painted them...
they've been used a couple times since, so the paint has chipped a bit, i did them by spraying a couple layers of white and then taping them and then using an exacto knife to cut the shapes out

no, i was a bit worried that they would come off, but i used outdoor paint and the only place that ive had problems with the paint are the areas where they were cracked before, i sanded them before i put the base layer on and have yet to run into any problems

i would still clear coat em. after a while the colors will fade and it wont look as good.

so nasty man. those are sick. ski companies should let you customize your own designs. like Nike ID and there shoes

There is a company that does that. Bare with me and I shall try and find out hte make. It may only be UK based though...

Oh cool, I didn't know. Hopefully that idea catches on though. It'd be bomb to have custom skis
