I need your help NS to help save prom

My school is cancelling the prom this year because it believes that we cannot produce the funds for it. Please take 30 seconds from your day to sign this petition so Masco's senior class can have a prom. Hopefully with your help, we can convince the ignorant administration that we have the drive to raise enough money.

Almost $100 a ticket, plus tux rental/limo... my pizza delivering self couldn't justify spending the money. Threw a party with friends and cheap alcohol. Had a blast. How was dancing 12 inches apart all night?
 
My friend wants me to go to prom. All he says is "you should ask this person" and i say i dont wanna go and he says give him a good reason. So i tell him it's shit and i don't want to waste my money on something that i'm not going to have much fun going to. Kid takes things so personal when i say that a social gathering sounds like no fun and a waste of time.

People saying prom sucks obviously suck at having a good time. Dancing, food, girls, after parties, alcohol, getting dressed up, what more could you ask for? My junior prom was great, my senior prom is going to be ridiculous
 
that would actually be sick. everyone from the school (and maybe even others) just throw a big prom-like thing you guys just go ahead and fund yourselves, big middle finger to the administration you already hate
 
Your a lot better off without prom. Its nothing but a conformist school get together that promotes low standards and shady social norms
 
Limos aren't necessary, the only person to get a limo at my senior prom was our Hollister repping doucebag and the senior mattress.
 
Prom is lame.

Why doesn't your school charge money for it? Can't remember how much ours was, I think like $25 or something.

Or just go to a school that isn't so poor. Or rob a bank and put on your own prom. Or take your piggy bank to a casino and play some roulette.

No idea who you are OP but since I used to go to Masco I voted for that shit cause I know how pissed I'd be if it was the prep or if I still went to Masco. Liam Craig, idk if you know him is meeting the principle to bitch her out but considering he's a pussy nothing will be accomplished.
 
Thanks for signing man. I am not a upperclassman, so this probably won't effect me in any way, but I felt that sharing this is the right thing to do. With 1000 signatures so far, I'm hoping that the administration changes their mind.
 
I disagree. I went to prom in 11th grade (not sure how it works at every school but my school prom was 11th and 12th grade only unless you got invited) and I went with a huge group of my best friends and had a baller dinner and went to the dance. Our school had cops a every door ready to call out anyone who smelt like booze so we were all sober. We lost interest and left around 11 and went to after prom for like an hour and got a bunch of free food and then went and partied at a friends house. Prom is cool to do once but the next year my parents planed a trip during prom and they were gonna change it if I wanted to go to prom and I said fuck no prom sucks. Plus I graduated in January so I had no desire to attend a school event. I've had some of my best memories the last couple years of high school and prom was very forgetable.
 
i think it's true. I mean it's okay to say HS dances are mad cornball but you can't deny the fact kids get jelly when you get it in after a dance. I went with this really weird girl sophomore year and it was better going solo with my dick in hand.
 
went one time shit sucks, thugs don't dance they just pour milk on bitchs tits. so bring lots of chocolate milk if you do go.
