oh yeah and If you hop off the lip like you were just gunna do a 180 then halfway through you look over your other should your weight will move further forward.

impossible is really just a lack of determination

when your going off the lip your prolly dropping your leading shoulder. Consentrate on keeping your body straigh up.

Or try spinning faster, so when you come around you have more time to throw yourself back forward to land.

make sure you're standing forward when you take-off. lead forwards like push your shins into your boots and you'll be fine. most likely you're leaning back when and after you take off so its throwing you back.

along with alot of these tips... try going for a grab that makes you reach forward.

you have to spot your landing better, or at least hit a big enough jump to get your 360's around so you can land fine.

maybe hit a biggerjump, it'll be easier to spin

Just bring your knees up!!! In this position the odds are really smal that you would start leaning forward and if you would its easiry to controll...

I just learned 3's in Oct and backseat landings were a big problem.

My shins are still sore. These were my problems.

1. My skis were too short and not stiff enough for my weight. I'm not saying that its definitely a gear prob, but consider that you might be riding some ministicks for your size and ability. My spinning hasn't changed since going to bigger skis, its actually gotten better.

2. Spot your landing and then lead yourself into that zone with your head. Your body will follow your head and shoulders. If they are behind your centerline of balance you are going to land backseat. You need to get them slightly ahead of your centerline so that when you land, they are thrown inline because of the downhill landing.

Hope that made sense.

k, lean forward, no joke. When you're popping you're likely, even if you do lean forward, end up leaning back after the motion of your pop. That would be why 5's were fine, but likely when you first started doing them you slapped your hands down hardcore a lot.

lean forward more. most people go all chickened out when the go off a jump and fall way backseat.

When I learned I used to that. I was told that it's cause I was twisting my head but looked as well. I solved it by looking more down (duh?). Anyway. It caused me to land on my tips and fall but the nxt one I stuck super clean. It worked for me.

Keep your hands foward. I know it wont look to steezy but it will hepl you keep your balance
