I need some help on car insurance.... PLEASE HELP ++++K

what kind of coverage do you recomend with my proggressive quote.... i live in colorado so the minimum is legal....but the minimum doesnt realy cover much. this is the first time buyng insurance so please help.... what is deductables? how much coverage should i have on a 98 civic?

please help im very confused and im going to pick up my new civic tomarow....

plus what are some tips to have a edge over my dealer....

last question if i buy some afftermaket rims can i find lo pro snow tires.... and what kinda rims do u recomend for all season mountain driving? 15 16 or 17 inch basic 4 hole patern
 
a deductible is what you have to pay when you get in an accident. i dont know what kind of insurance you have but i live in mass. so say you got in an accident and the other person caused it. you pay nothing, their insurance company pays you. say you get in an accident and its your fault and you have a $500 delectable and the damage to your car is $2500. then your insurance company give you a check for $2000 and you are responsible for the other $500. say the accident is your fault the the damage is $489, you are responsible for the $489. does that make sense? so the higher your deductible the lower your insurance coasts will be. the lower the most expensive because then your insurance company has to pay more. if someone hits you and leaves, you have to pay the deductible. keep that in mind. that happened to me and my deductible was $1000 and the estimate i got was $989. and i still havnt been able to fix my car. now my deductible is $500!

but my suggestion would be to figure out what you want, like say you want a little bit more then the minimum coverage just in case, and you want a $500 deductible, and you dont want road side assistance because you already have aaa. so figure out what you want and dont want and call progressive and talk to someone and be like look i know what i want and dont want and this is how much i can afford, lets see if we can make this work. and they can explain to you what things are and if you need them or not.

dude fuck rims. there gonna run u like 3-4 hundred and all they will do is get dirty. either black out ur windows or put in a sick system if u want cosmetics.
 
i found 4 rally rimms with 4 rally tires for 300.... used from a friend

getting limo tint in the back and 5% in the front any way i have 6000 to spend so im costomizing with my leftovers from the $3000 car
 
damn with 3 grand to spend...

def put in a sick system prolly like one 15 and make sure theres a decent head unit and amp.

then put on new headers and a new intake

maybe put on a new sway bar

and you should prolly keep like 500 to a grand in case the car dies or somethin cuz murpies law def applies to cars.
 
haha yea i live in telluride so a tuner shop is gonna be hard to come by.... im more interested on my look right now..... im thinkin black civic black ,windows, black rims.....JEA
