So my computer came down with some type of virus (I am still trying to AVG scan and delete). It also has some malware on it because these random pop-ups come up that usually dont come up. The virus must have fucked up my automatic updates in my Windows Security Center, because whenever I try and turn it on it says something is screwed up in the settings. Is there any way I can reinstall Automatic Updates? Thanks

Have you tried System Restore? Works wonders for me, and it's waay less work than reinstalling windows and loosing all your shit.

I tried that, but the only restore date was after i came down with the spyware/malware/virus.
