i need pictures of skirted boxes to show to my lawyer

i got in to an accident at the mountain i was patrolling at and now there denying a bunch off shit

so if anyone can post pics of skirted boxes and want mountain and state they are from that would be gnar

didnt you try this before? and everyone hated on you? the thing is you shouldnt have gone on the box if you thought it would have hurt you. whether other resorts have skirts or not you made the decision to go onto the box that didnt have a skirt.
 
no its a wicked long story

it has to do with workers comp and shitt

2mounths in a wheelchair plus crutches for another month + a surgery and 4 mths of rehab

nah man have have been sking park for years that fact was i was on ski patrol at this mountain now there trying to say i was never an employee and im just trying to get workers comp because i have medical bills to pay for and plus i was even hitiing the box i skied next to it and there was a bump that i didnt see because it was night skiing and my ski got shot into the frame work of this unskirted box at full speed i ended up with a broken heel , torn mcl acl and broken wrist i ended up spending 3 days in the hospital and t2 months

im just trying to get some help from newschoolers so maybe i will have a chance to ski again next year becasue there justr trying to hold back my surgery

but aparently most of you guys just like to critcize people

for some reason your story isnt lining up. i really dont see how u can break ur heel and tear ur knee up from just "hitting a bump and running into the box" this is rediculus bro. and ur asking ns for help for u to sue a mountain? good luck
 
it was un skirted dude at full speed it ripped the toe piece of my binding clear out of my ski i was throw almost 10ft before i hit the ground and rolled and rolled dude dont ask me how it happened dude it just happen in a split second
 
im not suing the mountain it has nothing to do with the mountain i has to do with the new your workers compensation fund it has absolutly nothing to do with the mountain

OR should i be on the side that is feeling no compassion towards this kid that seems to be lying? hmm... hard choice. Don't Sue, who cares if its about workers Comp. Other mountains could see this happen and be like well, we don't want to get screwed like that and BAM no more parks..
 
Wow everyone needs to chill out, first of all he is not trying to sue the mountain, workers comp is just them paying for an injury when your working for them, it happens all of the time in construction, it is their responsibility to cover the medical bill if he was on the clock during the time of the accident. The mountains insurance will cover it and they wont have to pay a dime. second of all uskirted boxes can seriously fuck you up. at my mountain nothing has skirts and its mad lame. also if he was going at full speed and one leg gets caught and stops and his body keeps moving he could fuck up his knee pretty bad.
 
the case hear seems like it is workers compensation, for which case the resort would have some type of information regarding your position as an employee. How else did you get payed, how long did you work there, etc?

On another note, don't you have health insurance?

i worked there this whole season and

i have my own insurance the fact is my insurance is saying this is a workers comp case and we just keep having to wait

i was right there to see the accident, i dont feel like explaining it ( no story changed) it was fucked up. are mountains a peice of shit and i wouldent even consider it a mountain, or have a terrain park, its provatly owned and the ppl are all cheap greedy bastards. help him out my god
 
i dont really get it...i also dont really get what a skirted box is..is it just a box with wood covering the sides? if so, what the hell does an unskirted box look like?
 
no thats it was unskirted thats y im trying to get pics of skirted ones to i can show the judge what the mountains looked like and what it should look like
 
well then there is nothing to worry about. workers comp will pay for everything as long as you meet the resorts policy requirements. And there is no way they can deny you working there, just provide a paycheck stub.
 
as for pictures, just search through all the rail pics on this site, im sure you'll find what you need(though i still don't know what a skirted or unskirted box looks like)
 
the one in the back is a flat down rail all of there rails are skirted but all of there boxes are not the one in the front is the on i got wrecked on

 
If he signed a contract that said:

"WE will pay for medical bills if you get hurt in any way while working"

... which is what worker's comp means.... and now they are trying to deny the paying of the medical bills, that's beat as fuck. post some pictures and stop freaking out, he's not sueing anyone.

Meh i didnt feel like it because i though it was the same thread, where you implyed you were suing your resort because you fell on a box. Seems like your story changed. According to your story now you're even a bigger fuckass for catching a box going "full speed" and fucking your shit. Idiot.
