Im buying a cat tomarrow, but i dont know shit about cats. Anyone wanna fill me in on the difference between male and female, nudered or spade, or not...
Basically help me pick out a good cat. I need to know what to look for being unexperienced in the ways of pussy.
PS: Im poor. I was gunna get it from the pound or something. Should i get it from the pound, or the shelter, or what. Im in San Diego if anyone knows a spot to pick up puss down here.
PPS: name suggestions are welcomed...i was thinking 'Weed' or 'Spliff"
 
yo i res-q ed a baby kitten from a box. and it is a girl. her name is lilly lil paws and shes so fuckin cute.

i would get a female because boys pee all over shit to claim it. lilly is so playfull u jsut have to play hard when there young. ... u probaly want to nuter it but its expensive. if u dont it will be a huge slut when its in heat and thats just fucked up.

lilly was a huge slut one day. she would cauck her ass up in the air and dance her lil paws begging me to fuck her. i was liek wtf lilly u whore im a human and we dont deal with that kinda pussy.

but yeah get a female cat and definitely get it spayed (neutered is for boy kitties). San Diego has a lot of adoption/rescue facilities so it shouldn't be hard to find one. i got my cat from the humane society when she was a baby. shes a female, kinda pissed at me and hates me because she couldn't live with me the past year but shes pretty cool. Decide if you want a long haired or short haired because cats can shed a lot.

get a MALE cat for sure. get it neutered so it doesnt pee around the house. My family has had 6 cats over my life and they were all male and awesome except the one we have now, female and so docile and boring. You gotta have one with male instinct right

but anyways girl cats dont spray or whatever but only some boy cats do that and if there nudured or w.e. buuut i think guy cats are waaay cooler and have more character and girl pussies can be little bitches sometimes..but guy cats=cooler/might have a chance of smelling but it depends on that catgirl cats=less cool/less chance of smelling bad and of course dont spray..
 
go to the shelter and adopt a cat (about 1 year old) that needs a home, not a kitten because they destroy too much. choose a cat that bonds well with you (male or female) just don't pick one that's hissing because you'll be taking it back. normally the cat should be spayed/neutered by this time and have their first series of shots, it is up to you to make sure the cat is seen regularly by a vet and given a healthy diet of strictly cat food.
cats are independent, so if at first kitty is shy and doesn't want to play, don't do something stupid to taunt him or he/she will hate you forever. make sure you buy cat nip and a scratching pad, most shelter/rescue cats are not declawed which can be both good/bad. but if kitty has no toys to scratch, kitty with scratch everything in site (my cats LOVE paper towels and doors)
if you plan to let kitty outside make sure you deworm him/her frequently (look for little white rice shaped things in teh doo doo, that's worms) also whether indoor/outdoor, use a flea/tick med (frontline plus) and use a flea collar along with a regular collar (break away closures are best).
things to keep in mind:-buy clumping litter with odor crystals.-don't buy iams food, they support animal testing and cruelty (it's gross)-catnip + lots of toys for teh kitteh-fancy feast or another wet food is a good treat
and most of all: if something goes wrong and you can't care for him/her anymore please don't abandon or harm the kitty. so many people do that and it's sad...

ya i adopted my cat, she was about 2 years old and we didn't know her history well but we knew she was abused. She loved scratching our couches and didn't really get what her scratching post was for. She was really independent and didn't like us too much at first, just cuz she'd been moved around a lot and had trust issues, she doesn't like being held too much although she's warmed up to us, she has sat in our laps at longest for 20 seconds before becoming fed up. But fortunately she is a lot more trusting now and if we go away for a week or something is happy to see us (she would shun us if we went away when we first got her). I guess what i'm trying to say is cats are awesome.

if you want to be a man choose plan a or b.A)get rid of the kitten and get a german shepard.B)get rid of the kitten and get a maine coon cat. (if youre going to have a cat it might as well be the size of a small lion)

i would get a kitten because they are the most impressionable so you can raise them your way where as an older cat at a shelter could have some behavior probs from being abused. Also female spayed cats are less aggressive.
 
My cat won't eat wet food for some reason, and when she does it gives her the shits. My cat is also afraid of the dark and heights, but she likes water and can stand up on her hind legs. But other than that, my cat is awesome.

Males will piss everywhere if you don't get their balls lopped off.

My suggestion is to get a male kitten, raise him up, fix him, and he will be your awesome little friend for years to come, and he won't want to piss on anything because he is not a hormone-driven bonercat.
 
most male cats will spray. i have two males and neither ever sprayed, and had a female once who did. females if not fixed will go into heats about once a month, every few months or possibly every two weeks. if you have an unfixed female she could have kittens if she gets out. neutering males is cheaper than females. males tend to be more passive and less affectionate. although, either way a cat should be given attention and proper affection as kittens to grow up with use to affection. this also depends on temperament. if your cat was born an asshole, good luck, sometimes they are literally the spawn of satan, but i've never had one of those cats. mine are all really docile and talkative and love being scratched and all that cat shit. they respond negatively to negativity much like dogs.
anywho. also, i dont know what you meant by poor, but if you cant afford an animal please dont get it. its not good when an animal has to go in and out of a shelter. although im sure it was an exaggeration. some pet shops are intelligent and sell kittens for 30-40$ and others, why i dont know sell domestics for 100$, and so might your spca. but chances are they might be vaccinated and etc at the shelters/spca.you can try craigslist too, or i dont know if you have kijiji.comsome people give free cats away in listings.
 
all i know is don't get one from a pet store. pet store dogs and cats and most other animals usually don't turn out to be good pets. im not saying you cant get a good pet from a store but it is very risky.
 
I have an 8 year old cooner. His name is Binky, but I call him Mr. Binky because he is so official.

His loving owner, who happened to be a co-worker of my Mom's died of liver failure this year, and he gave the cat to my family.

We had the cat for a week, then it went missing. We were scared because it has never been outside before, and we thought he had gone outside and never came back. We searched for a week, and my Mom had to keep lying to people at work, saying the cat was doing great. We pretty much gave up by then.

Soon after, my mom heard a meow, and thinking it was Spaghetti, one of our other cats, she went to the door to let him in. Well when she went to the door, there was not cat, but she could still hear meowing. Long story short, Mr. Binky magically crawled under our staircase, and he harry Potter'd it for a week living between the staircase and a 2-foot thick concrete foundation. We think the only way he lived was by licking condensation on the cement or something, needless to say he made it out okay.

Now he is a killer. His 8 years of indoordom have not dulled his razor sharp mole killing instincts, and a few dozen moles later, my family is confident that our mole problem is solved.

So we have the mole killer, Mr. Binky, and we have Spaghetti who likes to go to the road and bring back garbage our asshole neighbors throw out of their car.
 
I had a cat named binky when I was a little kid, but I never saw it again after my brother and i played tug of war with it.
 
dont buy one get it for free online soo many peoples cats get knocked up then families have like 5 kitties so they just give them away i got the sickest cat ever off of kijiji
 
i used to have a black and white maine coon and it was huge but he was so dope. he would be like a dog and just chill around sleeping on his back. anyways if i were you i would get a male cat because female cats are really bitchy sometimes.

My male cat, Chester, pisses on everything and my female cat, Stella, is scared of everything. If Chester still had his his bullets he would be the pimp cat of the neighborhood.

Dutch is my dog's name! But I used to have a cat that my aunt rescued and she lived to be 20 years old. She was older than me!
 
make sure when you are picking one out that they like you and want your attention, if not theyll live under the bed and be nightcrawlers :(
