I need immediate help!!

I was using a plate as a lid for a pan and now it's stuck on!! With my grilled cheese stuck inside ?

How can i get the plate off, its stuck firm

I’m more concerned about the fact that you steamed a grilled cheese. Doesn’t the lid make it soggy?

Nahh there's no water in there to make steam. I rub butter on the pan only and have both slices of bread face up with the cheese on top. On about 4/10 heat, covered, it takes approx 4 minutes to toast the bread and then the cheese is all but melted and when you put them together and gently press, the cheese fully melts p quickly. Once you get the timing down and find the right cheeses and breads, it makes the perfect grilled cheese. And it's open until the end so I can add hot sauce or eggs or whatever to make it a nice sammy.
 
Put it in the freezer. If it doesn't come loose, then put it on the burner with ice on top of the plate. It's an expansion contraction thing. Expand pan with heat. Keep plate cool with ice!

oh wow you got this all figured out huh? except for accessing the sandwich i guess. boom roasted!

Be careful with having the edges of the plate hot and the center cold. This is how you crack ceramic.

dude the same exact thing happened to my buddy who had a mattress in his pool. literally required a crane to get it out
