alright i have a HUGE problem, i cant go big at my own hill...

on vacation i dont have a problem, but i couldnt even throw down a good cross today, my tail and mutes were wicked shitty, and i woosed out on all spins

annother thing, when i go for mutes i cant tweak em, it seems like my legs wont bend that way....whats up with that? i dont know whats goin on, but im freakin out here

try bringing your crosses to the side that what i did. just think of your home hill as vacation.

Hmmm, on going big I guess that just takes balls, if you can do it on vacation then its in you. I dont know, but for your mutes try and pull your legs up with your hands. For me, my legs dont go that way unless I really pull on my skis.

 
Dude, I had totally the same problem when trying to tweak out mutes. What happens is that a tweaked on is kinda different altogether. If you are doing a non tweaked mute then you are leaning down and grabbing skis that are crossed and your feet are pigeon toed. However a tweaked one you have a straight back and are grabbing at the side of your body rather than in front of it. It is quite hard sometimes to grab and then tweak. For learning it is much easier to tweak and then grab. What I did was to air, go into a back scratcher position and at the same time I would point the non grabbing ski straight at the ground and bring the other one across, when it gots to about 45 degrees from the ground grab it and pull it up so that you have a nice perpendicular angle between the two skis, now you are tweaking and looking super stylie, let the grab go and the grabbing ski will automatically fall back down, bring your knees back up and totally uncross at the same time, then stomp it! yeah man, mutes are killer for me too. I can grab and tweak tails like there's no tomorrow, but I have trouble gettin all the way down to my toe and tweak it.
