I need HELP with a lens decision, NS

Hey guys, I live in New England and I'm looking to get some I/O goggles for the coming winter. I plan on riding from morning to late afternoon, and occasionally from dusk to late night. Also, in variable light/weather conditions, from bluebird to partly cloudy, overcast/stormy to night. Would you recommend I go with the ignitor mirror/blue sensor mirror combo, or green sol-x/blue sensor mirror combo? Thanks!

green sol-x is better than the ignitor on bluebird days. the ignitor is great on partly cloudy days, really it's a personal call but i'd go green sol-x.

If you can only get one lens for all those conditions, definitely get the ignitor mirror; it's the most versatile lens smith makes for a variety of conditions. If you can buy more than one, I would buy the sensor mirror for low/flat light conditions and either the ignitor or platinum mirror for mor sunny conditions. Both the ignitor and the platinum will be more versatile than any of the sol-x lenses as they have a slightly higher visible light transmission than the sol-x lenses. The sol-x lenses are fantastic in sunny conditions, but average anywhere else. The ignitor and platinum mirrors will excel over a wider range of light conditions. I have owned multiple pairs of I/Os and I preferred the ignitor/sensor combo for all conditions. Currently, I have a green sol-x lens and I don't really like how dark it is for any conditions that aren't bluebird and will either be replacing it with a platinum mirror or just adding an ignitor into my lens quiver this season.

I also own a sensor mirror lens which I prefer in all flat light or at night. I have no experience with the red sensor, only blue.
