ok so i need a good definition of an integraded bindings system.

this is why. i bought bindings off ebay. they were listed as salomon z10 ti. i was so excited. i got them and they were z10 ti smart track. so they are part of the salomon intergraded binding system. and i cannot used them on my new rossi trixies. so i emailed the guy and said they were different then advertised that i was sending them back and wanted a refund. so today i get an email form him saying...."

i don't understand. You told me that I listed them wrong. You said that

they were not Z10 Ti's. When I opened the box you sent back - they are

Z10 Ti's. I checked the heal and toe section for each binding - they

all clearly show that they are Z10 Ti. So what is up? Its a huge waste

of time and money to ship these back and forth unnecessarily. I guess

that I'm sending them back to you."

so i sent him another email trying to explaine what the smart track was and what an intergraded bindigns system was and even privded links to try and explain. but i have not been able to find a good def of an itegrade bindigns system. beucase this guy obviously isnt a skier and he just doenst get it. i dont know what else to do.

any help would be awesome. thank you so much
 
Tell him the smartrack that connects the heel piece and the toe piece is what makes the binding different. That it it meant to go specifically with a Salomon ski that is already set up for that binding. It lifts the binding off of the ski and is not what you wanted.
 
thanks. i told him and ive tried to explain it...i even offered the guy my cell number so he can call me so i can explain it if he needs me to. hopefully it works out...
 
yeah, tell him that an integrated binding is designed for use with only one type of ski and that it isn't compatible with your skis. then to clear things up tell him that although it is the same model as advertised the full details of the model weren't listed, as there are two versions of the binding.

something along those lines lol it can be pretty difficult explaining things like that to people that have no idea. could maybe throw in something about this version attaches to a rail that is already built into some particular skis, whereas the version I wanted screws into any ski.
 
this guy sounds like he has no business selling anything ski related. email him back with just this... "square peg, round whole...im sending them back for a refund"
if he doesnt agree to the refund, just file a dispute and let ebay deal with it.
