It is posted in the Gopro cult, but I need a somewhat quick answer.

So we had our closest thing to a pow day here in MI, and we were so stoked to get the footage of it. We plug the card into the comp and all we got was about 45, 2 second clips. I have no idea what is happening. It was in film mode in the settings and on the LCD screen. I have a friend that tells me if it blinks red, to know if it is recording. It blinks and then just goes away. AHHHHHHHHHH idk someone help me out here, or I am going to flip a shit on Gopro, its only 2 days old!

P.s. Its not teh HD, its just the wide angle standard. And we had 9in. of fresh we even hiked for it!!!!!

Also I don't think it is the card because I used it 1 time before with the same card and it worked fine.

Try taking the battery out and putting it back in. Mine was acting up one day and that fixed it. I know some people have been losing like half of each clip, that happened to one of my clips when I uploaded it. I don't know what is up with that...

i've heard alot of people saying its the type of card your using (atleast for the HD)

Now i know you said that you have the Wide, but it could be the same issue, but i highly recomend getting the cards that Gopro sell on there online store, because those are the same cards they test with, so they are garunteed (cant spell it, but i dont care) to work.

Ok so it seems that I have figured it out, it was actaully the batteries. I put it in the freezer with them in there, and it was doing the same thing. So my next question is, is what batteries do you guys use. I tried the energizer lithium ion AAA and those worked great but they died after a day. And the ones that don't work are the rechargable Ni-mh ones. So what do you guys use and are they recheargable?

the one thats made for it. go on a sight that sells the go pro and find in accesories the battery and buy it. works great for mine and i have nt experienced any of these problems

i havent heard anyone having problems with batteries. so your saying the gopro isnt getting enough power? but you have tried lithium and NiMh? huh thats really werid, i would almost be tempted to call gopro on this one.
