I NEED ANSWERS

Would skiing at a skatepark be considered urban skiing cause it's outside of a ski hill or would the skatepark be considered a terrain park. Which one is it?

it's neither, it just is what it is: skiing at the skate park. Not nearly as cool as real street skiing, but also cooler than skiing at the resort

I think that a significant aspect of street skiing is that you're hitting spots that aren't meant to be hit. Everything in a skate park is designed to be hit, just not by skiers. Personally I'd say that it doesn't count as street skiing, strictly speaking, but to each their own.

I'm going to disagree here and say that if you are in an urban area, or even hitting a feature not at a resort, it could be called "urban".

Now as far as how IMPRESSIVE the feature is, you aren't going to score a lot of points if you just hit a rail in a skate park. That said, there are some sick skateparks here in LA that I would be mega impressed with if someone got real creative with some of the features.

In short, its up to you to make it sick.

Not urban but cool nonetheless to throw in an edit

Its ok to put in a street edit imo but kind of a cop out.

I see it similar to putting backyard set up clips in a park edit, its fine but really you just didnt stack enough

Its all skiing just be happy we can do it. The line video some years back did a sesh in a skate park and it was sick. I can still hear Andy saying "this is the I hope I don't get my tips stuck on the stupid first lip" then does.

If you skin up to Leadville skatepark from Copper, is backcountry or big mountain cooler?

when I was a kid, "urban skiing" or "street skiing" was when there was a snow day, and you and your friends grabbed a waterski rope, affixed to a trailer hitch, and ski behind your car through the pow.
