I need a new car for camping/ski trips

My 2001 nissan maxima isn't cutting it anymore. I am trying to find a car that is comfortable for a 6'5" 220lb man to sit in for 4-6 hour when I go on road trips, with android auto/apple car play for music, and preferably with adaptive cruise control and lane departure assist. If I can't get the techy features then I at least want it to have some power. Currently leaning towards a 2016 VW Golf GTI or a 2019 CX-3

i slept in my 2005 wrx wagon from time to time but im only 6' and 150 have a buddy who has a Toyota sequoia and he puts a queen mattress in it and goes everywhere, best of luck.

if you're leaning towards volkswagen i'd suggest going with the jetta. it would better suit your size than the golf. they make em way bigger now than what they used to be. my brother has one and he's a fucking behemoth. 6'6" and like 275. but it's fun af to drive and has way more room.

Sportwagen 4-motion or Alltrack? I like our Alltrack a lot but I'm not a big guy at all so no useful feedback in that regard.

Are you talking about camping in your car?

Love how my little sisters golf tdi drives. I’m nowhere near your size but it’s comfortable and surprisingly sporty with the 6 speed manual. You really cant go wrong with a GTI with a stick

I was mostly just looking for a car that doesn't give me cramps when I drive for 6 hours to fernie, but being able to sleep in the car would be a bonus.

My biggest issues with my current cars are the: My maxima is falling apart, and super cramped for road trips, and the Dodge Journey is bad on fuel, underwhelming to drive and unreliable.

Honda pilot is super underrated. Cheap....Big enough but drives like a smaller car....good gas mileage and super reliable. Never regretted getting mine.
