I need a lil advice

Either path I take, I have an epic summer coming up.
Path 1: Stay in my little upstate new york town until half way through july, while going to the rock the bells concert in toronto and a sweet ass local music festival that kicks super ass, then leave to do 2 weeks of skiing at mount hood. Hanging with homies and doing ma thang. I gotta pay my way though.
Path 2: (My parents are trying to bribe me with this). Because of the dangers of me staying home all summer while they are away, and then going on a road trip across the country and back, my parents would rather send me to grenoble, france all summer where i would live in a dorm, take french lessons, and ski at les deux alpes. All expenses paid.
There's some really well informed people around the block on newschoolers, and I wanted to see what people thought. I'm still planning to do path 1. Either way, theres skiing.

gimme yopinions!

2 ftwyou will get to ski the whole summeryou don't have to payfrance is funyou will learn frenchyou will still get to party
either way im sure you'll have fun :)

while number 1 sounds like it would be fun, i wouldn't be able to pass up number 2. living and skiing in europe for the summer, all expenses paid?? i'd say number 2 hands down.

plan 2, see the world, ski while your at it, dont have to pay, still party and geeet some
i see no flaw in that plan

I've done some calculations for price for plan one, and it's feasible. We have a winnebego so room and board is pretty cheap. The only thing is, is that i'm not going to have money left over for college when I get back.
The second thing is, I won't be able to spend much time with my friends. Most of us our leaving for different colleges, and although a good company of kids are going to mcgill as well, two of them just spent the last year in africa.
The other thing is, I'm going to Mcgill for college, and that experience seems kind of similar to the one I'd be having in france. learning french, clubbing, etc. I mean there's vast differences but still.
However, taking a college summer class is good for the transcript.

rock the bells is every year, you have your whole life to party, and money doesnt come easy these days, AKA option 2 is the best, when will you get another chance to live in france and ski french alps all summer? plus you can party there and see some rockin french concerts haha

france will be something that you will remember forever and its free...you ll get to see how the rest of the world skis(part of it)

Dude,number 2
I'm going on a camp in Les 2 Alpes this summer. Then we can do some Ns shredding down in those french alpes! And I think Pep Fujas is going to be the guest coach so he's gonna be chilling down there two.

Dude, seriously?
Number 2 obviously, just think which would you rather be able to say you've done, 10 or 20 years from now? And if both the festival's are yearly events then you can go next year.

Number two for sure!

I can definitely understand wanting to stay and party with your friends

in the states...but a free trip to France where you could ski all summer...dude, you can't pass that

up!! That's pretty much a one in a life time opportunity.

You'll be kicking yourself in the nuts years to come if you don't do it.

plan 2, most likely youll get to go to new york and those festivals again, but not france and skiing for free, plus its a good idea to go to college

Number 2, dont waste your money and at the same time ski someewhere new,

PARTY IN FRANCE, just with people you dont know...yet

make new friends, and FRENCH GIRLS

begin claim: my gf is a hot french german babe from france /claim

just had to throw that out there... and she is awesome.

You'd be stupid not to do option 2. It'll be such a great experience that you absolutely will not regret. Europe is the shit.
