I NEED a ~96mm waist rocker ski for

Peter.

Alright, so I have been wanting to buy a rockered park ski forever, and finally have the funds. ideally, i'd be buying some surface one times, but they are a little steep for my budget. i am 6 feet tall, so i need something probably 178 or longer. I want something with a waist in the 95-100mm range, because i like fatter skis. I ski 95% park, so center mount is always nice, but i could just center anything i guess.

any suggestions would be great!

Armada Al Dentes or Fatypus L toros. I own L-toros and theyre the shit. Also, Check out grace skis. The murdock from them sounds right up your alley

the 900 dollar msrp on the murdocks is definitely not up my alley, and the other two are both super pricy as well

doesn't have to be brand new, but i'd prefer it. older models are OK

preferably under 400, but could go to 450 maybe

please understand that what you are looking for will run you around $750-900 with a binding that is suited for the ski.

we currently have a 170 leftover volkl bridge i could get you into for $350 and setup on a squire (not that im recommending it, but with your budget) for $525 out the door mounted. (thats if you are local to albany ny lol)

you will regret buying 450 dollar park skis. You should mow some lawns or something for some extra cash. Your wallet will thank you when you get one pair of skis for 550-600 that last the whole year instead of a price point ski that will explode by February. Just my 2 cents.

Those look an amazing shape. I am looking for a similar sort of ski and will have to consider the HGs. Hate the topsheet though, and all the fish on skis you see, I don't get it, why does fish = skiing? Armada have done it, so have moment if i remember right, maybe 4frnt too.

The only correlation i see is the stupid fishermen hats we see these days on 'gangsters' steezing /bitter old man.

First of all, I don't need a new model, as most of last years models sell for well under 450. Secondly, I can never justify spending 600 for a ski that is going to get thrashed riding east coast park. If i was buying a powder ski or something more all mountain that i knew was going to last more than a season and a half, then i'd be able to justify spending more money.

And to the guy who said i need bindings, i have some on an old pair of anthems

Moosejaw has a pair of Lib Tech Freerides for $490 in 188 cm. 100mm waist and reCurve rocker. Plus the zombie prom queen graphic is one of the better ones.

Like I said, I'm in the market for the same sort of thing. Current options I'm looking at are:

Line Chronic, Armada Halo/Al Dente, Nordica Soul Rider

I can't easily get Fat-y-pus or HG in the UK but both of those look good. Atomic Infamous are tempting even though they are only 86 underfoot because they are so cheap.

I've eliminated anything that doesn't have a sintered base. Both K2 domains and Line TCs are really fun skis but extruded bases just plain suck.

ok you can get an older pair of like blends for like 350. i reallly want a pair but dont have the cash. i also heard the old salomon 2012 are pretty dope

just got this years line blends at 185, it's 100 under foot and has early rising rocker... should be a fun ski for the park and anywhere else.

found last year's rossignol scimitars, they are 97 waist and fully rockered.. anyone have experience with them?

Wicked fun ski. I've skied them a few times and I loved them.

As far as HG's, I don't think they are rockered, and I have no idea what the flex is like (their previous ski was extremely soft and had more camber than I've ever seen on a pair of skis), but then again I'm just speculating. I am really tempted to pick up a pair to support the homies. I think the graphics are sick, plus jellyfish just have a relevancy to myself that no one else would understand.

this is my ski! I love them for park. Only downside is that they arent 100% bombproof. I have some core shots and edge cracks.

hm.. this is kinda an issue. where do you mount them, because i like riding true center (coming from anthems and patents, two symmetrical skis)

there is a +5 from recommended mark on the ski, which is where I ride them. I think that it as about 1 or 2 cm back from true center. Definatley not a symmetrical ski, but it works great in the park anyways. The switch skiing is phenomenal and it still hold good on groomers with the forward mount.

If I were looking for a great ski in your price range, I would definatley go scimitar. THe durability isnt terrible, just average. And they are basically the best ski for the money that you can buy

ended up going with the scimitars, got them for 300 bucks and free shipping on evo

evo is having a sick outlet sale if anyone needs some new sticks

thanks for the help guys
