The new salomon spk boots are the sikest boots ever made for freestyle skiing... the new boot design is so sick and so light that it just blows all other boots out of the water... im so glad i snagged a pair... i also like the liners .. super comfy and max support... if ur looking for a new boot for the park... the spk's are for you

Agreed with nomensteven! Just because the dudes at freeskier said it was amazing and it was their "pick of the year" doesn't make it so! You have to try a boot on to determine whether or not it's a good boot.

Besides, this is the first [park] boot that solomon has come out with so maybe give 'em a year to work out the glitches.
 
word, its all about fit. proper boot fitting is key for a good boot. i tried in the SPK boot... felt like shit to me, but thats just how the fit was.

also i break buckles all the time, so if one goes, there is only one left...
 
umm...maybe y'all are just young but the spk design is nothing new.

look into an boot known as the FLEXON COMP made by RAICHLE years ago. mogul skiers and arialists still use them. the KRYPTON is the same concept.

i cant wait to try out the spk's. i love my 1080's but they're getting really packed out. hopefully the new ones will fit just as well and are twice as comfy!
 
i just got mine sent to me and they are the lightest most comfy boots i have ever slipped my foot into, they are soo good they like hug your entire foot and shin
 
well they may be good but you cant say that any boot has more support than technicas. plus technicas are insanly comfortable. they are my pick. i have never been impressed with solamons in the past actually
