I might have a question

I just finished my second day of park today and i was wondering if i'm progressing fast enough. I was able to pull safety grabs consistantly and maybe 1 or 2 japan airs. they were super sketcy though. Am i progressing fast enough?

Two days of park and you're throwing around words like progression, and looking for approval? Here's how you know if you're progressing too slow: You never fall. Here's how you know if you're progressing too fast: You land on your head more than on your feet. Just have fun. Just don't start any threads about outerwear...

that's fine for only your second day of park.

It helps if you ski with friends who are good at park so you get better and they can give you pointers. personally i would work on rails and then move onto jumps. And start with spins then throw in the grabs once you get more comfortable

yeah thanks guys. i was so stoked when i saw they built up the kickers. and i didn't actually have a friend there but i made some. thats one thing i really like about the freeskiing community. they are all so nice

Are you progressing fast enough?? Well first of all, How old are you??...........

Where do you ride??........

Are you on Twin Tips??....

How long have you been skiing?? (not park)

BTW, this has got to be one of the funnest Threads ive ever read on NS...................................................

we butchered that one. you odnt need approval. there is no such thing as fast enough, because there is no rush. if you have fun then thats all that matters. just do what your comfortable with, and have fun

I'm 15Perfect North SlopesI have InvadersI have been skiing since i was 4 years old. I stoped for a really long time. then came back 2 years ago

Ok, well first thing you need to do is change your signature......... "You better ski with steeze or else" not cool..............

second, dont worry about progression when it comes to park, your only as good as you actually are........ BUT IF you do care, 15 years old, skiing sence you were 2 you should be doing pretz, sw 5, dub backs, and fliming urban.....................................................................................................................

People progress at different rates its as simple as that some people progress really fast and others progress really slow. Also you are constantly progressing its not a contest homie.

Solid advice. There's no such thing as "progressing fast enough" you have to progress at your own rate you don't want to start trying to progress past your abiltiy level, you seem to be progressing fast but don't get caught up in what you can do and start hucking or trying something stupid and hurting yourself.
