I margarine, help me butter. Will a flexy ski help?

Alright I try to butter, but my skis are stiff as fuck, and that is not going to change. I am 130 lbs, 5'10. Im scrawny as fuck and can't for the life of me consistently flex my skis. I have stiff boots. I am just looking for a ski that can help me actually butter. I am wondering what the flexiest ski is out there that is not the Line Mastermind. Am I just doing it all wrong? Are some skis better for buttering than others? What would you recommend? I currently can halfway butter, more so margarine. I need new park skis, dont care what size or what brand as long as it can hold up. I am not crazy big or disastering huge concrete ledges, so most skis should hold up for me.

Thanks for the input.

what skis are you currently on? it's a little hard to judge what you should change without knowing what you're skiing on now.

notoriously buttery skis would include line afterbangs and TC, armada b dogs and al dentes, atomic punx (from my understanding), j skis (I've heard they are noodles).

The new TC ski is easily one of the softest skis I've flexed, go with those if you want something very soft and with rocker

Buttering is for pussys. Send it big. No girl likes a floppy d. And by d I mean skis.

Honestly the LTE is actually pretty soft (I have the 2013 so i assume they can't be much different from the 2010 ones but I could be wrong) but just hit the gym during the off season and do a lot of legs and core to strengthen yourself up and put some pounds on you because weight and strenght is a big factor in making a ski butter the way you want it too. That's just my 2 cents I hope this helped but it's your choice either way

I suggest the 2014 afterbangs. They have a 3D butter zone and they are VERY flexy thats probably the best ski for nose butters.

Not terrible advice

but know that buying a ski for the sole purpose of buttering well, you will be sacrificing performance in other major categories

My skis are not soft. Honestly they were comparable to the nightsticks. I did the whole concrete block thing and that worked some, but the tails are still so stiff.

some videos could be helpful in determining your issue buttering too. it's possible you just aren't doing it correctly. I only recently learned to butter, before I just had terrible technique with it. it won't matter if you have the softest skis ever if you aren't doing it correctly.

are you just trying them on flat ground? over rollers? off jumps? I find flat ground butters are really hard to learn. if you're just trying them on flat ground, I'd recommend trying them off of little knolls/rollers. you really just gotta lean into it, way more thank you'd think. like 'chest almost parallel with the ground' more.

also getting some leg strength up would probably be a good idea, as some people have recommended.

Woah woah woah, hold up buddy, Punx are in no way what so ever buttery, as a matter of fact they're fairly stiff...

sorry, I realized I was wrong about the punx after doing more research... you caught me lol. the rest of those skis I mentioned are pretty flexy, though.

OP if you actually have the 2013 LTE, then you do actually have a great buttery ski. those sticks are not stiff. I've ridden them and could butter like crazy when I was smaller than you. All Liberty skis are generally softer than what they claim, so just take that into consideration wehn you look at other skis. If you can't butter with your current skis, then you need work on your form.

as far as other skis that can butter, K2 domain (honestly about the same flex as what you have) basically every Line ski, J skis, RMU Diam, Volkl Ledge, just so many. if you want more rocker, more camber, etc, just say so. It will make the process alot easier
