Friends, new and old! Now that we've settled into 2014 a little bit, I wanted to reshare with you my Circatree music project. I compose instrumental electric music, incorporating acoustic and electronic elements into a multigenre warping of sound. I have not had the opportunity to perform live with my new setup yet, but my goal for 2014 is to have a full audiovisual performance completed by the end of the year.

I recently released a free-for-download glitch/beats/ambient EP titled "Solar Solipsist" with Blind I (www.blindi.co) and a downtempo/guitar-based single titled "Iris" earlier this month.

I really would like to stay in touch with you guys because if everything goes as planned this project will take off. It's been a few years in the making and finally a solid artistic vision is coming together..imagine botique art/coffee house/lounge music meets car bumping/club music.

I started experimenting with resampling almost everything I play on my MPC this year. My next project is already feeling a lot more smooth and intricate.

I do think my tracks on my solar solipsist EP are pretty glitchy, especially the rick mal remix (fourth track -- almost all chopped samples of synths I played and timestretched/fucked with drums) and "Happenings and Such" (the first track) but yeah, I'm always trying to progress and evolve! Cheers.
