I.m. on a mac?

haha i didn't understand the question at all for a second, i thought it read "I'm on a mac? Can I?" hahah anyway yeaaah ichat's the thing you want. go into preferences and you can set up your AIM account to work through it.

ichat works great and has a lot of amazing features, too. much better than anything else pc or mac can offer, with the exception that it only works with AIM and .mac accounts. a good program that will let you use AIM, yahoo, icq, msn, etc. is adium. and then there is skype. but ichat is sweet is you use AIM the most. you can chat with video, sound, connect to the other party's machine and access their drives and even take control of their desktop. it's saaaweeeeeeeet.

u can also get windows live messenger for mac. and normal aim for mac.

not trying to be a bitch dude, but you couldnt just typed in google 'aim for mac'. and voila.

Adium is better especially if you have an msn account and an aim account, because you can be signed in to as many different services as you want.

ichat is not weak. it's like a remote control for the other person's computer. check out the new features that were added to it when leopard came out.

Adium is good if you use multiple clients such as AIM, MSN, Yahoo, etc.

iChat is good if you only use AIM.

Don't download AIIM for mac. Its awful.

I prefer iChat over Adium since I only use AIM but try both of them out and see what you like best.
