I look like a pencil...

When i am doing spins and what not, i look very penciled out. It is really annoying, because i look like a kook. Any tips, or will style just come with time?

i think pencil style is makin a comeback, along with fanny packs and skin tight ski pants. u shood just get and do all of the above and get ahead of the game

try taking off with a wider stance and throwing with the shoulders more than swinging your arms around.

What helped for me with grabs and style was to just try and bring my knees up to my chest and make adjustments from there.

Hunch over while skiing, make it a habit. That's what I did and even when I do spins without grabs, they feel sketchy but my friends say they look steezy because that's my normal stance.

i used to have that problem because i wasn't very good at grabbing, but i found that if you just grab one of your shins kinda like a cannon ball your style gets a lot better. Also, after a while you get use to being tucked and can do any grab you want.

^ err... a cannonball would look pretty much the same as a double safety, which is what i recomend to lose the pencil steeze. Just tuck up ur knees a lot and try to get both of your boots, it's make you look better.

meh... it would look about the same as a double safety... Ya know what grab i've been thinking of trying out ... like a double grab with a nose safety and tail safety. Just tuck up and make sure the shoulder to the side ur spinning is the one doing the tail safety so ur shoulders are still open for the rotation... that'd be sick.
