youve seen it on a few girls status' by now on facebook. its just where a girl puts her purse or where it is at the time they get the mass message about the status.

just like the bra color thing... cause it made it to the news.

make up some kind of parody and ruin it for them. get creative.
 
i dont even understand. i remember the bra thing. are you saying girls post the location of their purses on facebook?
 
Same thing goes for those ridiculous event pages like the "I Am Beautiful day" page or the "If you really knew me" page. They think they are confronting their problems by posting them on the internet for other people to read. They are looking for symphony for their already low and shallow self esteem.
 
no, they say something like "I like it on the floor" or somewhere else and they get attention that way

i dont think its for any kind of cause.

more of seeing if guys will comment because the first thing that comes to mind is sex when they see something like this. if you see who has "liked" the updates, its mostly the huge douche kind of guys.

just post in your status "left," "right," or "center" (which way your johnson is hanging)
 
never quite understood these stupid gimmicks to "raise attention!"

we all know it exists, and we all know it's something that should be cured. You're not doing a damn thing by telling people that it exists. Donate some time or money to a charitable cause and actually do something. Odds are if you use facebook, you're already aware that breast cancer exists.
 
that spread really really fast i didnt think any of my fb friends had done and it turns out there were like 4 one of them happened to be a nser =0
 
I know it's important, and i'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything, but why doesn't anyone pay attention to other types of cancer?
 
yeah, but i haven't gone a day without seeing an ad for it. even last nights football game, all the players were wearing pink and there was a halftime show about it. just saying.
 
exactly. i don't see how this brings attention to the cause it is supposed to. it would be one thing if they said like 'support breast cancer research' after or something..
 
there are sooooooo many forms of cancer that get little to no recognition and its sad because they are generally rare and theres never any money for research so the people who have it are pretty much always fucked
 
I just explained to my mom that I don't like being friends with parents, because I think it's kind of weird. She understood, as did many of my aunts/uncles/friends parents.
 
Limited Profile!You can go through and choose exactly what a person can and can't see. This way my parents feel like they are keeping up to date with me but in reality they can't see tagged photos, certain wall posts, people's comments etc.
 
i think the idea is to raise awareness, but i know what you mean. its also the context. they are more trying to be trend whores than actually doing something. if they really cared, then they would take more action
 
i thought this was pretty easy to screw up. they say they like it somewhere, you say you like giving it to them in said place.
