I leave my car unlocked one time...

So I usually always lock my car, but last night my hands were full and I firgured one night couldn't hurt and we live in a safe neighborhood. So I'm not worried at all and I go out to my car this morning and I see that my doors are cracked open. I look in my car and everything in my glove box is thrown all over the seats and the floor. I'm thinking I'm fucked and everything is gone. When I start picking up the stuff I'm seeing that everything is still there, my insurance, my title all that. Even my sunglasses, my aux cable for my radio and road flares are still there! So everything is there, nothing is gone or damaged thankfully. I'm trying to think who the hell would do that and not take anything, there are a lot of younger kids around age 12 and I'm just waiting to see some pictures some where with some kids in my car. So lesson to be learned is don't leave my car unlocked every again, although I did get really lucky.
Well that's my story.

It is like that Dane Cook joke, where you break but dont enter, and make people wonder what the hell they took.

Did you check your change holder?

Fucking this! Who the fucks leaves the most important document in your glove box? For being so stupid, I wish they would of stole your car and forged your name on the title signing it over to the thieves.

lol this reminds me of something 2 of my buddies did last summer. same situation, except these guys were the ones breaking into the car.

so anyways, these guys are drunk as fuck just walking around, i dunno why they werent in the party with the rest of us, probably smoking a j but whatever. they find an unlocked car, decide to go in and see if theres anything of value. they dont find shit, but, being the idiots that they are, they decide to take the fuckin insurance papers and all that shit from the glove compartment, which is fuckin useless. a cop randomly comes out of nowhere as they're leaving, finds the papers on them, books them. these fuckin clowns had to spend a night in jail and the whole deal, just for some stupid papers they found in a random car ahahaha

my friends do that all the time, just walk down the road pulling handles, if it opens they take the change or little things like gum and make a little mess so people know they left their door open

That sucks

I leave my car open all the time by accident, and the only insurance claim I've made is when I smashed a window with my bike handlebar

i live in an upscale neighborhood.

we leave all of our cars unlocked, with the keys in them

we lock the door for some reason, but the spare key is basically in plain site...

no problems yet...

non of you know where i live, right?

Can't really lock our jeep so we don't keep anything valuable in it.A few weeks ago someone broke in and took a broken ipod (the headphone jack doesn't work), a chapstick and a hairbrush.Who the hell steals a hairbrush? Especially when they leave behind the ipod jack which could actually be worth a little.
