well what ive heard (and i may be wrong), is it contains some chemical thats really close to THC. the version thats legal in canada doesnt actually contain the chemical, its just got the same taste/huge amount of alcohol. as for bringing it into the country, ive got no idea

You have to get your wormwood strait first. if it's bitter, it's not allowed to be SOLD in the US. sweet wormwood is completely legal, but it doesn't have the hallucinogenic effect (I think that's what they sell in Canada). Nobody even knows what absinth is anymore so you should be able to put it in your check bag and you'll be good; they can't see the labels anyway. My friend gets his shipped in from Mexico along with some king of alcoholic mescaline drink. it's pretty tripy.
