I don't give a shit how much hate this garners, there's nothing compelling about it, and there's no individuality or creativity to speak of. It is physically impressive and requires talent and dedication at a level which I do not possess, can't overstate that, but it doesn't make me want to go ski. It makes me want to write impassioned letters to these kid's parents about expectations, entitlement, and balance in life.

This IS just like a recruitment video or something right?
 
Would've been better with, ya know, non-aerial tricks, but really doe, that flat at 3:13 was fucking nasty.
 
I did not enjoy that at all... Not even because of the classic hating on arials, but just because it just looks like a bunch of people doing uncontrollable flailing haha

This is crazy. To those who are shitting on them, I used to compete slope style with one of these guys and he's nasty, pretty sure he'd kick your ass in slope and aerials, so i'd check the athletes before you talk.
 
I thought freeskiing was skiing the way you want. Whether you like the gymnastics aspect of aerials or not shouldn't matter, these guys are just as passionate about the sport as anyone here. A lot of them kill it in the park as well

To clarify... I completely respect what they're doing, it's crazy. All I was saying was that watching so many people do it at once is overwhelming. Aerials itself is super ballsy, I'd just rather watch one guy rather than something like this video

Lol maybe they enjoy it? I'd be pretty fucking stoked if all I did was get paid to launch my self off a huge jump and travel the world with my buddies.
 
You're actually right ^. I didn't really even watch the thing. I still think aerials is way overly structured and too rigid when compared to what I like about skiing, but it is about fun at the end of the day, and that looked like a lot of fun. I wish I had the talent to do that. I was wrong and I feel like a dummy. Can't be mad at people having fun with skis on.
