I just spent more on season passes then..........

whistlers is like $1500 early bird $1800 in season... thank god I'm a student. $500 whaaat?!

AINT SHIT!!!!!

mine was $480 this year. Epic local is whats good. Thats about 6 weeks worth of drinking for me though. you gotta ski doh.

Way better than $1200 where I use to live!

yea, i got the epic local as well, but late so i paid 509. Then i bought a steamboat pass which is 700, with a college discount. Steamboat would be 1200 if i didn't go to school here.

$309 on the east coast for a single college pass for Cannon, Waterville Valley, Bretton Woods and Cranmore. Any day all season.

if you live in Utah and you only bought passes for 2 mts theres a problem. i mean... im sure there a passes that give you access to pc, snowbird, alta, canyons etc for a decent price too

you have to think like an accountant on this one. yes you spent that much in one day, but if you allocate the cost over the entire season it doesnt sting as much. plus think of all the memories, friendships and health benefits of being outside and being active you just paid for. its like paying for a vacation, match.com, and a gym membership but way better.

I live in MN, the only way he spent 900 on two passes is if he just bought them....if you buy them in summer *which i do* you can get them 50-75% off lol plus im on the race team so i get them for like 275 for both combined

will be spending approximately 0 dollars on a home mountain pass this year: park crew.

it's only normally like 250 but still

FREE SKIIN YO

I will be spending the winter at Aspen once again and pay nothing for a third season in a row. God I love my job.

ill be getting $700 discounted off my pass to the one singular resort i ski at this year....and ill still be paying $1300 for it

how the hell does one eat for 40 bucks a week. impossible wihtout your own garden or chickens. whoever said htis msut be malnourished. is it rally woth the extra pass??

bread, eggs, 50cent per lb chicken, rice, beans, tortillas, instant mashed potatoes, cock sauce, all for less than 15 dollars, 40 is easy dude, I used to have to watch my spending, cutting out delivery food and eating out and looking for killer deals can get you by for almost nothing.

well $900/18weeks is actually $50. That does me pretty well, I dont eat out, this doesnt include my beer money, just food. Which if you think about it at $50 a week that gives me roughly $7.25 a day for food. Pretty reasonable for one person.

Also Saga, point on with that post. When I consider how much enjoyment i will get out of skiing from November to May (maybe later?) its an easy choice!

I dont eat out at all. I do tend to buy local small farmer organic produce wich can get expensive. plus lots of bread, eggs, potatoes, rice, peanut butter etc.

Having 21 meals in a week minimum means you're spending about $2 a meal max.

Either you plan on eating nothing or I'm not sure...ramen?? I wanna know your plan if this is possible though.

most hills around here have a 5 days + 7 nights pass (just can't ski Sat and Sun during day) for $100. pretty sweet deal.

We don't have multi-mountain passes... (alta/bird doesn't count)

College passes are $400-700 per mtn.

Adult passes are $800-1200 per mtn.

I would hate to be dropping $1k+ on one pass. Seems like the best deal is the Epic pass. One of the many reasons I'm hoping to live in CO when I get out of school.

I guess the east coast has it a little better: Seven Springs is only 310 for us college students; last year I only dropped $240 on my pass to Wisp. Although when I went to Killington I what'd hard when I saw that a pass there is over a grand.

You spend $900 dollars on food in 4 months? Or is it less? I feel like I spend no more than $200 a month and I could go cheaper

i've spent 129 on season passes and have passes at boreal, Squaw and Alpine. Also got new Moment Night Trains for 200. I think i'm doing pretty good this season.

My PC pass was like 350. And the season price pass price at my home resort in Michigan were like 600 for skiing a landfill.
