I've been on this website for 7 years! SHIT!

Still loving skiing although my joints don't function as well as they did when I was in highschool and was riding a pair of orange 1080s.

grats. i remember when i brother had those skis, and we'd take ski trips and i had rossi rpm's or something and i always wanted to use his skis, because they were 'freestyle skis " and "looked cool" now i look back to that day thinking wow. " what a gaper i was " haha,

lol, wow that was so long ago. then my brother got line something. i dont remember but they were blue green and white and had a chick on the tails with a pistol

pistol?

I had old line 1260's with those colours but the chick was sitting on a car...maybe she had a gun...i dont remember though

yeah she was sitting on a car, i'm pretty sure she had a gun i dont know. but those were the days

7 years ago i was either skiing rossignol CUT "PARABOLIC!!!" skis, or bright orange snowblades

hahah

Wow, I just had my bindings taken off my old silver 1080s and put on my newer SPKs...bummer. I'm keeping the skis though, because they're classic. I have a pair of the 420s too, zomg!

That's sick that you've been here so long. I guess you kinda deserve that wise looking icon now don'tcha?

I'm 9 years older than you. Skiing makes me feel old. I'm not going to stop skiing park for a while though, so much fun.

The next skis I bought were the first Dynastar Trouble Makers. I ripped the edges out, of course. I think they lasted two and a half seasons. Then I broke a pair of fujatives, then another pair of fujatives. I bought my first fat skis last season, JP vs Juliens, and am on some El Rays too. Last season was my best ever. I got to spend the season skiing everyday in Switzerland and finally got to hit Whislter in the summer. Skiing is Sweeeeeeet.

I still have my brothers orange 1080s in our garage. They are like 135s and are pretty much snowblades. And like the guy said above I always wanted to try them out because they had two tips and he could go backwards and do 180s. Oh man was I jealous

haha I didn't even ski very much seven years ago, I started racing a year later, then quit after two years and started skiing with my friends who snowboard.

i dont really remember 7 years ago, i was 10 at the time, so i prolly had no idea what freeskiing was at the time, than a couple years down the road, i would find a freeze magazine and really get into freeskiing

7 years ago I was just starting high school. I:

- didn't know freeskiing existed

- hadn't smoked a cigarette or drank liquor

- had never travelled anywhere by myself

- didn't own a camera of any sort

- thought razor scooters were the shit

- had never kissed a girl

Fuck, that's a long time. A lot has changed in 7 years.

If you look forward 7 years, where do you see yourself in 2016? Still on NS, feeling nostalgic about the original hellbents and the days when Tom Wallisch was new?

7 years ago.. I believe that was the first year I got a pair of twins. I think they were the original elan airtwists..?

october will be 7 years for me also.

seeing that makes me think about how many other things have been a constant in my life for 7 years. not much fits the bill.

October will be 10 years for me!! BLAOW! Where did the days go? Yellow 1080s for the win.

Matt.

hiya mr h! good to see you around these parts!

it's funny, i bet there are a lot of kids on the site now who have no idea who you are or what you have done...

i was a freshman in high school surfing NS as a guest because i didnt have an email to set up an account those were the days.

this will be number 9 for me!

damnit Matt! i blame you for my intense procrastinating over the last 9 years!

ok not really...

snowlerblades!!!

ah shit thats what i was on too 7 years ago, then i switched to some siiiick volkl expression twins, i didnt join ns til like early 2006

7 years ago i was racing and claimed hard on being able to throw helicoptas off the tiny side of the trail kickers.

one decade and still kickin'.
It's funny though... my mentality about skiing hasn't really changed very much in the past 10 years. from my first switch 180 10 years ago to my first backflip off a cliff last year... STOKED!
