Watch, discuss. If anyone has ever played the KOTOR series for xbox (OG) they will know how much potential this game has. It took me over 200 hrs to beat KOTOR II, hopefully more for this one haha.

(WOW players dont even start talking about how much you're layed that game haha)

Or have a single player portion to it. I loved the KOTOR series and am very disappointed that this is a MMORPG.
 
ill start playing KOTOR 1 and literally wont stop playing till im done with the story
 
For me I will do the whole "romance" thing with Bastilla and shit and talk to Carth to get everyone's side missions too.
 
KotOR I was amazing, second one wasnt quite as good, but still great. Bioware hasnt produced anything better than Baldur's Gate II though. I always get my hopes up when they release a new game, but Mass Effect and Dragon Age werent better than 7-8/10 (which is damn good). On another note how the fuck did it take you 200 hours to beat KotOR II? Like 200 hours to beat it 4 times on hard or something lol?~

Anyways if I have time I will play ToR~
 
200 hours- fuck that- took me 4 hours to be cod on veteran and I thought that was painful

and i play live all the time and i only have 49 hours on that shit
 
Star Wars Galaxy didnt flop. it flopped when Lucasarts sold the gamerights to a new thirdparty - they fucked up the game so the players left when WoW and Guildwars came out

I wanna try this but I get so addicted to MMORPGs..... I had 96 days played when I stopped playing WoW..
 
I can't believe I actually agree with Panda in this thread. KoToR was one of the most amazing games I've ever played.

I'm extremely pissed they went this direction for the newest part of the series. Like hell I'm going to pay each month for this game.

I just hope Mass Effect 2 is going to be good.

KOTOR from a tech standpoint was at best mediocre but the story was so cool and it was fucking Star Wars so it was really fucking fun. But I don't have the cash to pay for an MMORPG every month to play a fun game.
 
Exactly, the game was just too damn fun.

I feel they are going to lose a lot of casual gamers like myself with this move to an MMORPG. But they don't care because they'll make the money back with just the fewer number of people who are willing to pay per month for a game.
 
Yeah, thats still a flop..

I dont know what to think about this mmo, im not over hyping it. Im just gonna let it come out and ill play it.
 
No, I am talking when I play it now like when I replay it now that I am 21 it is corny as hell but I still do it cause the rewards for it are sick.

The only aspect of the second KOTOR I like is that you can literally make every member of your group a Jedi if you play your cards right.
 
Troof. I didn't really like Kotor II either. I was watching my buddy play it and seemed like more of a morality sim than a game. It's like they took all the dialogue from KOTOR and applied a super, super boost *5 multiplier to it.
 
that trailer was way sicker than all of the past 3 Star Wars movies combined.

That said, I will not be playing this game.
 
It is a totally morality sim. Which is probably why it was so hard to keep my guy light side on my light side run through.

KOTOR I the rewards for being a "good" guy were just too good to pass up.
 
Only SoE could fuck up a game as good as SWG was initially. Yes it was released with quite a few bugs, but it was a phenomenally fun game. That didnt last too long though, just as expected of an SoE game~
