I just got accepted to UVM

i bet your parents are fucking stoked they get to pay 40 grand a year now!
no hate i really am happy for you. just saying its really expensive for a public school you know

Such a good feeling man. I got into Montana State a month ago and had the same feelings. How long did it take to find out from UVM?

Is this a good school for sciences, like biochemistry or biology or chemistry? It would be cool to go to school up there, I guess it's gotta be near a mountain.

Also, congrats on getting in.

I'll be there next fall.

and yes I am aware of the price, yet I have to say I think its going to be worth every penny

good for any environmental and natural resource field really, a lot of options available. can't really help you with bio or chem though.

don't make the mistake i did though and come here solely for the mountains. i mean i really love skiing and riding but i'm realizing now that they don't have the majors i might be interested and i really miss surfing a lot.

I hear ya, I miss surfing too. I'm from nj though so I usually only surfed during the summer anyhow. I did miss out on september waves which sucked. where dorm are you in?

and congrats on gettin in dude!

to get into montana state you have to have like a 2.0 gpa, and a 17 on the act. how could you not get that

its obviously a safety school, I just meant the great feeling of getting into (atleast for me) that first college

cool my sister goes there as a freshman along with like 12000 other kids but if you do end up meeting her dont get her pregnant because then you will have to pay for the rest of her years there

trying to quote foodisfun, but it won't let me....anyways:

I'm in a whole different boat. I chose UVM/Burlington area because of skiing too, and I guess I just got lucky. I found something I'm passionate about, and I know that the people I meet up here will lead to me getting a job in a field that I want to be in.

I am a business administration major, with a dual-concentration in management & the environment and finance, so being at UVM really opens doors for me.

As far as bio, I'm pretty sure that it is a good program. I believe my friend is a bio major with some sort of pre-med thing going on, and I know that his program is very demanding but also very recognized.

i'm going to apply there. probably can get it but i don't think i'll be going there. i love the campus and everything but 40k is to much. fuck living in new york. i'll probably end up going to stonybrook or somewhere in new york

pretty much everyone uses student loans. sending my app in like a weekso not getting in :[

Yooooo congrats!!! I go to UVM! I'll be a senior when you come here.... tonnns of legit kids in Burlington. It's a great time, a great place, and a great school. GET STOKED!

Excellent! I found out I got into to UVM just about two years ago today. It was awesome. The worst part about getting into school this early is you will become incredibly lazy for the rest of your school year. I did. I only applied to one school and here I am.

PM with questions if you want.

if you're referring to the new ns logo as their icon, it's the default for anyone who didn't previously have one
