I just bougth some wide ski and I need cool binding!?

Hello! bougth a pair of icelantic gypsy with the walrus on them !! they

are awesome, but I have them unmounted rigth now because I don't know

wich binding will be the better,

Ive heard the Salomon STH have a

better control on wide ski then the fks or other bindings, Currently I

have them on my pair of Nomads RKR I like them but my boots always seems

to always loose and have to reajust them (make them reajust at my shop)

maybe the just fit badwith my booth.

Hate it or not they are gonna be mount at true center and i am mostly riding park, except for a week at whistler. So i need binding that have a good stability on wide ski !

Thk to the ppl who will help me!

Damn im dumb forgot these .... im 5.9 around 195 lbs ( im not fat OK :( im just ''wide'')) Im a pretty good skier I guess I will ski them in park and woods etc... pretty much everything. I Ski everything atleast a couple hour in a season! I guess im a aggressive skier ! so i need something pretty strong

the toes do loosen up on the sth driver toes. How do you like the release on the sth right now? If its working for you now they should work fine for you again.

If you are not diggin the sth try the look px14 race. It has a plastic toe with a steel heel and with me being 5'11 230lbs I have never had a problem with the plastic toe and once the px binding is set up nothing it going anywhere. You will have to buy wide brakes for them though.

STH toes should not need adjusting often, the only time this will happen that i have seen, is when the height is set close to the upper range, which usually only occurs when the toe height is incorrectly set, so it may be worth having a decent salomon dealer check them. I have had a set of sth 16's and have never needed to adjust the toe.

As for new bindings I would go sth2 13 or last seasons sth/ffg 14.

Are the Fks will offer ''enough'' stability on a wide ski (125 underfoot)? And to ^ Jester will be in my choice for sure I just need to get more info on them !

my skis are 93mm in width... which is wide for me but about average for park skis nowadays. i have pivot 14 on them and they are the best binding i could recomend to anyone. marker bindings in general feel nimble and lightweight. maybe almost cheap. imo fks/pivot will always be your best bet and people will compliment you on them all the time.

My griffons handle my Chopsticks alright. the toe wobbles a bit, but I hardly notice. I'm a bit lighter than you though at 150 lbs.

get a pair of jesters or Salomon sth 16, because trust me, FKS suck to readjust on a steep run in deep snow, when you need to just click back in and go.
