im definetaly not joking, Ive already made treetop prototypes, and dude, this is what im doing with my life, and as for the financial aspect, I already have a small govèt grant, and will be working closely with small communities, the environment ministers, and with the CTC, working towards a goal of sustainable tourism, sionce, as you know, no tourist infastructure can be worse for the area than a developed one. The future is ecotourism, and the money is there too. Theres a niche, I want to fill it. I have a whole proposal written up as well, but Ive never been more serious about anything in my life. So donèt sell me short, Im capable of great things.

I agree with you about ecotourism being a high-growth field, but you have to understand that it wouldn't make any fiscal sense to sell that property now anyways. It's going to be worth ridiculous amounts later on. I mean, the island is accessible by ferry from Horseshoe bay, 20 minutes from downtown. No other small island in B.C. has that. I expect huge value increases by the the time I'm 50, and maybe then I'll sell some of it and have a nice, comfy retirement. Your business plan is sound in theory, but you're goin to have a hell of a time paying for locations. My dad was trying to buy a marina a couple years ago on Gabriola, and the property value went up over a million dollars DURING NEGOTIATIONS. Like 2 months. That's absurd. This is high-value property... it seems likely that the people who will profit from ecotourism will do so because they can afford to start it up. In other words, people with other, already lucrative business interests with which to support the venture.
